Noise cancelling is solid and I use them for work and school. No problems at all, and I am able to connect it to two devices with no issues. The app is very intuitive with great settings.

These offer fantastic sound and clarity without being plugged in. I have the bose Q35 wireless that I also like more for ANC but the audio is better with the XM-4's IMO. THe ANC is better with the Bose but these get the job done. If I were going on a plane I would take the Bose. If I wanted music I go for the sony and not plug it in because they are that good.

Wow! We're glad you like the great sound, clarity and wireless connection of your new XM4 headphones. The noise canceling function is effective in low frequency ranges such as airplanes, trains, offices, near air-conditioning, and is not as effective for higher frequencies, such as human voices. If the noise canceling function is not sufficient. Check that the Adaptive Sound Control is turned off. Check the setting of the Adaptive Sound Control on the “Sony | Headphones Connect” app. When the Adaptive Sound Control is turned on, the noise canceling function may become insufficient.

I was searching for some noise cancelling headphones to help block off noise while I studied. These did the job perfectly. They also project crisp sound for music. I love the feature in which it automatically pauses while speaking. I'm glad I can engage in a quick conversation and continue where I left off with my lectures of music.

Working from home, my family is VERY loud and often breaks my concentration. These resolve that. Add to the fact that I can have them synched to my computer AND phone at the same time and that means I can stay in my little bubble as long as I want free of interruption. The must have accessory for working at home during these strange times.

Top quality headphones, highly recommend

I listen in many ways across several devices and I’m really pleased to say that this model of Sony headphones is really cut from a different cloth. I can’t find a single thing I don’t like about the sound quality and the active noise cancellation is top tier. The only reason I’m pulling it down one star is because I find that the headband is structured a little loose. To elaborate further I need to expand them by 2 notches on each side and I’ve found that the headphones really like to slide into that position with little effort now. This could potentially become more detrimental down the road.

For anyone who might me sensitive to the noise cancelling its not so tough on your ears to where it will make your ears and/or head hurt. Worth it even more when on sale.

Get These for Amazing Noise Cancelling

However, with the included EQ you can get pretty good sound from these with a little tweaking. Noise Cancelling- 10/10 With a newborn and a toddler, working from home has been quite a challenge. This noise cancelling is so good sometimes I just have them on with no sound playing just so I can experience quiet while I work. It's incredible.
