Great Headphones

I was a little skeptical so i went to Best Buy for a trail run and compared them to the Bose, Beats and they were such better quality and the noise cancellation was great. Fit was good… 5 stars here!

Sound quality out of the box is already great and noise cancelling works well. The only thing is the color, it looks like a tan/sand color through the stock pictures but in real life they’re more of a gray.

Great, Connection takes longer than necessary

There's been a few awkward moments where I immediately play my music or podcast and they haven't actually connected.

We sincerely apologize for the brief but awkward delay between the "Bluetooth connected" voice prompt and the actual functional pairing. That moment where you immediately start your audio only to have nothing play is certainly frustrating, as we aim for a completely seamless experience.
This behavior can sometimes be related to how quickly the source device (phone/laptop) completes its handshake with the headphones. To potentially smooth this out, have you tried these two steps?
Please ensure your headphones are running the latest firmware via the Sony | Headphones Connect App. We frequently issue updates that improve connection reliability and speed.
Sometimes, temporarily removing the XM4s from your device's Bluetooth list ("Forget Device") and then re-pairing them can reset the connection profile for faster linking.

The sound quality is just as good as more expensive options, and I prefer it over the XM5 since it can fold. The only issue is that the it pauses too long after a conversation.

However, the mids and highs in these are LIGHTYEARS better than them, and the headphones are stupidly lighter, making them easier to wear. Overall, much better product. Im a snobby drummer, so i know my critique of needing more bass is probably just a me problem lol
