Get these over the xm5 due to the xm4 ability to fold up and fit in a smaller carry case compared to the xm5 that dont fold at all. The headphones are worth every penny because when you put them on ALL unwanted noise pollution is gone! Perfect companion for NYC commuters!

Better than Beats

The color and sound quality are great and I would say he cancellation is better than most Beats that I have had in the past. I'm officially a part of the Sony crew.

Super happy

The only issue I have had is that sometimes they jump to 100 percent volume when powering on and pairing with my phone. Tech support showed me how to reset the headphones but the issue creeps back in every once and a while. I’m sure they will address it in a firmware update. Other than that I am super impressed with both the sound and build quality.

Great Noise Cancelling Headphones

Noise cancelling is the main reason I purchased these. I have a neighbor who has a stereo with a thumping bass that was penetrating the walls. I got these headphones and most of the noise was gone. Because these are bluetooth enabled I was able to have some calming music to help me sleep and that drowned out all of the noise. The sound itself is really good, too!

I’m a klutz so i’ve dropped them a few times and they work amazingly!! Aesthetically so pleasing too, love the color. I just wish sony soundconnect was more consistent with actually working… but the headphones are great

Long use

The headphone has no quality issues, but overall the sound cancellation makes the music sound small when I am in public. I charge it once and I can use it for 10-15 hours.

The dog ate my headphones

Top of the line when it comes to quality and he cant be happier when he is studying for his exams.

Perfect ANC

These were generally reviewed as the best out there. I am glad to report those reviews were right. Color is fantastic and the NC is ironclad. It's changes based on what you are doing and that is very useful. Swipe motion for skipping and volume control is effective and engaging. Loved these so much that I got my girlfriend a pair too. She loves them!

However they are not the secures headphones if you’re gonna use them for active activities and mine broke after 1 year.

Great Sound Quality When They’re Not Cutting Out.

They also have good battery life. When fully charged, these headphones will likely last 3-4 days before fully running out of power. Unfortunately, these headphones have problems with randomly cutting out and cutting briefly. It happens often enough to impact the listening experience. I don’t know if this is only a problem on PC, but Sony really needs to fix this problem. I’m somewhat satisfied with this product, but, if I need to replace these headphones, I’ll try a different brand. I’m not likely to recommend this product, unless there’s a fix I don’t know about.
