But it could be better the reason why I'm giving it. 3 stars is because the headband piece digs into your scalp. And it could hurt, especially after hours use or if you have thin hair and the battery life is okay compared to other headphones. It tends to run out at a quicker rate depending on the volume. And setting, you have it on. But if you're a Sony fanatic, these would be better than the latest generations like the last 2 generations, aren't as good as you would think. This one, because it's thicker in the muffle area has a better. Noise-canceling property than the others, but it is heavy not to an extent. You would notice in the very beginning. But after hours use, you do notice it

For the headband comfort, some users find that a third-party padded cover helps alleviate the pressure. I also own Beats Studio Pros 3 and Bose QuietComfort 35ii. The noise cancellation is spectacular. The sound is very good as well. I also like that they give you the ability to modify the sound through their app. I got these when they were on sale for 249. Well worth the price.

With every intention of getting another Bose I fell in love with the Sony. Comfortable to wear, easy to hard wire to your phone or i-pod or i-pad or to set it up wireless. Love the wireless and blue tooth capabilities. Sales rep was very helpful in getting me set up.

Very nice sound quality/control but its plastic

I had the beats solo pro at the time and had forgotten that the beats are virtually industructable compared to these. The beats had nothing to compare when it came to sound quality and bass but at least they were full metal and not plastic.

My only regret is that I did not buy them sooner. I love the noise cancellation and the touch controls on the right ear. The speak feature that lowers the volume and turns off ANC for a period of time is awesome, but it is not for me. If I respond and just say yea to someone it activates. Great feature, just not for me.

Ive purchased quiet a few over the years and this has to be the best use of my money. The noise cancelation is top notch. Ive been to airports and busy areas and find myself engulfed in my music. Best noise canceling headphones out there bar none. Everyone I show these to and have them try them are blown away on the noise canceling effectiveness of them. Only con is that you cant use them for gaming on a computer/use the built in mic at the same time (bluetooth limitation in general for stereo audio/mic usage at the same time)
