SONY “BEATS” the competition - Worth the $$$

There is no competition, they are better than Beats & Bose easily. Beats are extremely uncomfortable, these fit over the ear really well and can be worn all day.

They outperform my old Beats Studio 3’s in ANC performance. It’s also nice being able to up load EQ settings into the headphone.

The sound quality, the noise-canceling feature, the controls, etc are all very good. The only reason it is not a 5-star is that the microphone is VERY bad. When I am on the phone with someone or in a virtual meeting, no one can ever hear me and when they do, the sound it very muffled.

Use the Bluetooth device to re-establish the connection. Select HFP or HSP for the profile.
Make sure to update the firmware of the headphones using the Sony headphones Connect app.
Try using different smartphone to isolate the issue.
