These are my favorite headphones I’ve ever had. The quality of sound is like no other and the noise cancelling feature works so well that it does make it hard for someone to come up to me and chat while I wear these. You can also adjust the settings on the app it comes with and I have the bass a bit boosted and I love the sound of it so much. The battery lasts forever and I don’t need to charge it that often either. Sony did their big one with this.

Honestly, this product is amazing! The quality is excellent, and the materials used are clearly top-notch. The design is both practical and stylish. Its definitely worth buy, i already have Bose 700 , and it does pretty good job on NC but music signature is pretty normal and lacking Bass. Pros of Sony - Excellent NC - Switching Ambient Control based on Status - 360 Reality Audio is excellent. - Music is really balanced. - Has EQ to adjust music based on signature - Very good battery life compared to Bose - Cushion Ear cup are pretty comfortable and soft - Bluetooth connection seamless between iphone or Sony Music Connect App - Also it comes with stat where you can see your headphone usage - Touch sensor are good but could be better - You can adjust ambient noise just covering Right Ear cup while speaking, it will then allow noises in , reduces music sound Cons - Noise Cancelations is pretty Good but Outside I think Bose is better with little more points. But I would say 100 NC is not also advisable during transit. - Touch sensor is responsive but could be more efficient Overall I would give 8.5/10 based on Build , Music Quality features, NC Bose 700 - 7/10

Absolutely the best ANC headphones you can get. I use these everyday and charge only twice a week. I commute by train everyday on the NYC subway and it’s very noisy but with these headphones when ANC kicks in it takes all the noise away and I’m in my own little world enjoying my music as I sit for my stop. Extremely comfortable headphones and have worn them for 3 hours straight without any ear pain. Yes if the weather is warm they will head your ears up and cause sweat. Be careful using these outside in the rain. They don’t react well to water. As they should since they are not water proof.... There are firmware updates once in a while and I believe the app may be set by default to grab them automatically if connected to wifi. App is also great just wish they didn’t remove the sound simulator that was in the app for the XM3. I bought the black and midnight blue color for my wife. Honestly they look the same. The midnight blue is very close to black. I should have bought the silver instead. No big deal though. Please be warn that if you have an apple device you will only be able to use AAC codec not LDAC. Also the bass response is clean and can further be adjusted via EQ on App.

The Sony headphones are just what I needed. I travel a lot by air and the ANC feature blocks out nearly all the ambient sounds without having to turn the volume way up. The sound quality is full and rich even at low volumes making relaxing very easy. The battery life is good. I don’t have to worry about charging often seeing that a 3 hour usage still left me with over 90% of battery life remaining.

Everything about these headphones is stellar. Battery life, noise cancellation, comfort, style. I use them when traveling the most, especially when flying and they’ve not only lived up to the 20-hour battery life after 6 months of frequent use, but the noise cancellation makes it trivial to fall asleep, even during take off! I use an iPhone and, while AirPods have the best user interface in my opinion, I have no qualms with the way these headphones work. I think the only place they’re somewhat lacking is with the all plastic design, but it gets the job done.

5/5 for these headphones. I had spent $50, $100, and $150 on three different headphones trying to save money on headphones that have noise cancellation and it ended up being a waste of money. None were that good at noise cancellation (including one refurbished Bose comfort set). I decided to just invest in more expensive ones and read the great reviews of this one. This one is the winner for sure! They look good, they sound good, they are comfortable, and they seem like they will last me forever. Best Buy was also super fast in getting these to me (I ordered these at night and literally had them on my head by the next morning).

I got the Sony WH-1000XM4 on sale and couldn’t be happier! The noise-cancelling technology is impressive, the sound quality is excellent, and the comfort is top-notch. Definitely one of the best deals out there — amazing value for the price!

Hands down best wireless ANC around IMO. Lots of great features, sound & noice cancelling. Compares favorably, IMO to Airpods Max even if evenly priced, which of course they’re not (these are 50% less). These are very comfortable, much lighter on your head than Airpods Max which gave me a headache. Sound quality very similar. Noise cancelling very similar. Not as good ambient sound. Can connect to two devices simultaneously (i.e. TV & iPhone at same time) 30+ hours listening time vs 20 from Airpods Max. Includes aux cable & hard travel case. Airpods Max do not include aux cable & it’s case is flimsy & annoyingly required to keep headphones at low power state. Sony’s charge via USB C. Airpods Max do not, insisting on Lightning cable. I prefer Sony’s over Airpods Max & think they’re the best bluetooth noise cancelling headphones on the market today.

They can be better. I really bought them because I was trying to connect my headphones to my PlayStation and since it was a Sony brand, I thought it was compatible, but it wasn’t. I keep having to use the wires to connect my PlayStation to the headphones, which is sometimes annoying But all in all they produce great audio, and the comfortability on them are amazing.

These headphones do a great job of cancelling ambient noise. They are also comfortable to wear all day and I like the fact that I can set them up to either pause when removing them, or powering off. They sound really good for music and Podcasts.

Easy to use, sound great. I wear them when working, which is noise with a vacuum and pressure washer. The ANC is good. I can complain for a legacy item. Only thing I don’t love is the case.

Best noise cancelling and sound quality in the business that I have heard. I work in a noisy machine shop and this will kill the drone and angry screeching sounds of metal being cut. Helps me concentrate on my work and also tune out my sons video games or youtube at home. Very comfortable and battery life has been great. The EQ with the app along with adaptive listening settings gps tag your locations to dial in correct amount of ambient noise or full noise cancelling depending on how you register the location. For example at work I use full noise cancelling, walking, i set to wind reduction, home some ambient noise depending how loud my son is blasting youtube in the living room. Also has a feature that when you start talking it cuts noise cancelling while you can conversate with someone then it will resume music or movie after you stop talking for a bit or double tap right ear phone to resume play. Have to give a great big thanks to love of my life my wife who bought me these for our 15th anniversary.
