As it turns out, the headphones aren't quite designed for sports. To prevent the unit from falling, adjusting the headband and the earpads properly can help for a firmer hold and better noise canceling experience. To improve the sound level of your headphones, redo the connection on your headphones and source device and try increasing the volume on both devices. Hope this helps. Only slightly better than xm3

If you are debating between xm3 and xm4, go xm3. Cheaper, on par sound quality and touch controls react a little better. Either pair you can't go wrong.
