Have purchased a few of these over the past few years. For family as well as myself. Have tried three other over ear headphones and these have, by far, the best noise cancelling, battery life, sound quality and comfort.

Had these for over a year now, great headphones overall. Noise cancelling is insane, music quality is crisp and clear. The app has a lot of options lets you adjust the EQ levels very specifically if you so choose. They're comfortable enough that I've fallen asleep wearing them before. The only downsides I find in these headphones is that they will slide off during some workouts at the gym, (mostly ones where you lay flat or at an angle). And they get a bit sweaty while working out, but really what over-ear headphones don't get sweaty, y'know? I also have trouble connecting them with my computer sometimes, but that just might be user error...

There is probably not a lot I can say that hasnt already been said about these headphones but I'll give it a whirl. I was impressed with the sound quality. I was expecting it to sound like a typical pair of popular headphones where the bass is so muddy that it ruins the entire sound. This is fortunately not the case. There is also an equalizer in the app to adjust the sound to your liking. 360 reality audio is mostly a gimic. To start there are very few ways to actually use this. The way I used it was through deezer. There is a special deezer app that allows you to play songs with 360 reality audio. I tried comparing a few songs between the normal deezer app and the 360 reality app. I think I prefer the way it sounds with the normal app. It does sound more open with 360 reality audio but it also sounds more processed. A pair of headphones with a wide sound stage and good imaging sounds far better. I think 360 reality audio would be cool if it could be used games or movies but not with music. The battery life is fantastic. I tend to use it in short bits of maybe 30+ minutes here and there. I find I rarely need to charge them. I dont have a ton of experience with noise cancelling headphones. I was initially a little dissapointed in how much it cancelled. This doesnt block as much noise as something that isolates the noise like a pair of shure or etymotic earbuds. Since thats what I often use I wasnt blown away by the noise cancelling ability like others have been. One thing I was dissapointed in that I havent really seen mentioned anywhere is that you cant connect to two devices and use LDAC at the same time. You have to choose which one you want to use. Higher quality or two devices. All the reviews seem to point out that these headphones support these two great features but fail to mention that you cant use them at the same time. Hopefully they figure out how to make both work at the same time in a future version of these headphones. Until then I tend to mostly treat these as the multipoint feature doesnt exist. Overall, these are a great pair of headphones and would highly recommend them.

I purchased the Sony-WH-100XM4 based on all the positive reviews I’ve watched online. The Headphones are comfortable and light. The sound is great for Bluetooth headphones. Noise canceling works great too. The battery last a long time with Noise canceling enabled. The headphones can connect to two devices at once. The Headphones use touch controls for those interested and you have to download an app to adjust settings. I would certainly recommend these if you’re in the market for a new pair of noise canceling headphones.

The Sony WH-1000XM4 Headphones are simply the best! The sound quality is amazing! The Noise Cancellation is the best in the industry! The Bluetooth range is awesome! The battery life is amazing! They are so comfortable that you can wear them for hours and hours, all day long. Trust me, once you get listening to the awesome audio, you won't want to stop listening! I can't say a single thing bad about these, as they are totally awesome! You should definitely get a pair and you will love them! I'm so glad I got them. They are worth every penny I paid! A must have. I don't want to live without them!

Gotta say I'm very pleased with these! My office has several people just outside of it in cubicles and I can hear everything they say. These allow me to enjoy an open door while not having to take part in every conversation they have! Great for productivity! The sound quality is also very high, these are not reference headphones, they are arguably not audiophile grade either, as many audiophiles want a flat frequency response to hear the music as intended. These give you a bit of boost in the bass range, and have a very "fun" sound to them. They last forever on a charge it feels like, and sound good enough they don't have me yearning for my "hifi" pairs back at home.

Great sound quality and long battery, comfortable to wear for long periods

I researched a lot of headphones like beat solo 3, studio beats 3,and Bose QC45, and I found that these models of Sony's beat all of them. You can do the research yourself and you'll come up with the same result that these brand of Sony's are far superior in noise cancelation than the other models that I've mentioned bose comes in an incredible 2nd place beats noise cancelations are trash. The sound quality on the Sony's are fantastic. The seamless touch interface on these headphones are fantastic. I recommend these headphones for anybody that wants quality NCH with great sound. I can vacuum my entire house I can do my laundry and never hear any of the machines running or the vacuum running when I'm listening to my music. Well done Sony.

I returned my Bose 45s for these, and I’m super glad I did! I got the blue pair when I wanted the black, because they didn’t have them. I gave it a try anyway. These are far superior! The ease of connection, the swipe to control the music without touching my phone, and you hold your hand over the cuff to cancel the noise control. I love these and wear them at home, work and the gym! If your considering these- don’t hesitate! You’ll love them! They are very light and even after hours I am not sweaty at all. The app is easy to use also. Thanks Best Buy!

Great new color! I have a few Sony over ear headphones, and these are the latest pair. They offer great overall sound. The highs are high and the bass is palpable! Another great offer for this set is that the battery life has been extended further. I have paired these with many items so far, and the customization offered by the app is just outstanding. These are a great investment for those who travel, like NC, or for people who just enjoy headphones that provide excellent sound quality. I got these on sale. If you see these on sale grab them quickly.

I've had my eye on these for a while. I had been holding out because they are a bit expensive. So far, definitely worth it. Noise-canceling is great, very comfortable, they feel nice and sturdy and come with a g hardshell case, battery life is solid, and the touchpad controls are a very unique feature. You can connect to multiple devices at the same time. I also really like that you can customize the sound using the mobile app. Don't know of any other headphones that do that. I will say, if there is no music playing, and the noise-canceling feature is on it feels like there is pressure in your ears. But that's not a big issue.

I love how much battery the headphones have as they have lasted a few days for me without ahh additional charges. It also only takes 10 minutes to charge and it is comfortable and the soun quality is good. It also stays on while I am jogging which is a highlight of the headphones for me. Overall a really great headphone and I definitely got my moneys worth.

A little background, I have been enjoying my silence in the office during the lockdown as most people either be working from home or coming in shifts thereby creating an extremely peaceful work environment. Fast forward a couple of months, people showing up in the office increased exponentially and so did all the gossips they had to share. So I bought these headphones on a whim. There hasn't been a single day in the office that I have not used them. They are amazing in all respects. Let start in the order of qualities I appreciate in them. ANC: The best feature of these headphones for me is the active noise cancellation. All the chatter and bs is just blocked to the point where you can enjoy a dumbed-down version of the silence. Make no mistake, they will not completely make your environment similar to pin-drop silence but be rest assured you shall feel the difference for sure. Battery: I don't care about the numbers but there hasn't been a single day that I have run out of the juice in them. That doesn't mean they won't but just means if you are judicious enough to keel an eye on the battery and keep charging for a couple of hrs, you are good. In case you do forget, good old wired technology is for your rescue. Sound: It's SONY, enough said. The sound quality is amazing. The sound stage is wide, well balanced, and yes the EQ does come in handy for a bass lover like me. Build quality: You get what you pay for, so since you paying the premium you do get lightweight, well build headphones. The headband is comfortable. The ear cups have the right amount of cushion and do not get bothersome even after 10hrs of use. That is the max I have tried on a single stretch. The ANC feature can make you feel a little uncomfortable with weird pressure feeling but I could live with it for 10hrs. EXTRA: Speak to chat, amazing function when in office worst when you are at home and your jam comes on. The touch on the right ear cup is flawless. Every time I want to execute a function, it is done. Final: I would highly recommend this investment.

Great pair of headphones, the noice cancelling is excellent and sound quality is great! Additionally, it has a very long battery life and is comfortable enough to wear for long periods of time!

Pros: Excellent sound quality. Very intuitive (has a noise canceling feature that sets automatically depending on what you do / where you go). Confortable to wear. Long lasting battery. Cons: Cannot pair to a PlayStation. Design is beautiful but so light, it feels like they can break easily. Had trouble with it when I enabled the Google assistant (would stop playing music and assistant would go off without permission even after I disabled it).

Tremendous especially for the price. Don’t need to upgrade to the version 5 or 6 if you can still get these. Comfortable. Don’t smudge. Clear sounding. Noise canceling is insane. You’ll hear only your inner thoughts lol.

Had no problems pairing with my TV. Though it seems to be a bit of a hassle to pair with a second item. Can be done, but not worth it to do right now for me. Audio range and sound are good. Not as nice, crisp or dynamic as my Monster DNA headphones (but they are wired). They are quite comfortable, can wear them for hours binge watching TV. Which is what I got them for - being up late watching TV without disturbing others in the household. Battery life is great! Could binge a few days on a full charge. I only need to charge once a week. Packaging and quality are good. Was not interested/concerned with noise canceling, but now that I have it, it is nice. Works well. Was not even aware of it at first, but one time I removed them and realized all the noise it had been removing (furnace, clothes dryer, ext.) Very aware of how much this does now and appreciate the feature. Not having to adjust the volume up or down every time the furnace kicks on or off is nice.

These have been great. Reliable, comfy, and good sound -- perhaps not audiophile quality but perfect for basically anyone else. The comfort is the most important thing for me, since I work a desk job and game. These are supremely comfy even for 2 or 3 hour meetings, and the battery lasts a long time and recharges very quickly. The software support is acceptable (although clunky) but the defaults out of the box are fine.

My main purpose, in buying these headphones, was to get excellent sound quality in a wireless setting. These certainly provide that. The noise cancelling is very good as well. The headphones are also very comfortable and reasonably light, comparable to my wired headphones. Battery life is quite amazing- I can go 1-2 weeks without charging. It appears well made, with a quality feel (esthetically not super exciting, but that is OK) The 360 audio feature is nice, but I am perfectly satisfied without it- limited to a few sources (like Tidal, with premium level subscription), and not worth it for me. Movies sound great. Highly recommended.
