Love these headphones and the touch control features. Has decent battery life and quality sound. Would recommend.

I love the look and feel of these headphones. They are super comfortable. The sound quality is also top notch. I love the feature that detects your voice and pauses what you're listening to and the noise cancellation so you can talk to someone and hear what they're saying. The fact that there's an even newer model is crazy. The price point made this model so worth it and it's still so good. I only have two complaints, and they're totally minor. I know at least one of them is fixed with the newer model, which is that I don't like how they're stored. You awkwardly have to twist one side completely and the other bend at an awkward angle to fit in the case, it's judt a strange way to fit the headphones into the case. My only other complaint is that sometimes the bluetooth connection isn't great and the sound will be static-y. All I have to do is disconnect bluetooth and reconnect and it's fixed. Both minor annoyances that still made the cheaper price for the older model 100% worth it.

Tried on many OTE headphones and these were the most comfortable. When they went on sale I pulled the trigger and got them. Sound quality and battery life is fantastic.

The most comfortable headphones on the market. Amazing sound and perfect amount of bass. Only thing I wish was changed is to increase the amount of devices you could have it connected to at once.

WOW! I still can't believe these beauties were available at this price. Amazing sound. I wasn't a person that needed noise-cancelling but after using these for awhile... I'm sold. I did disable the touch controls on the ear cup and use controls through my mobile devices - I just kept bumping the ear cups and all sorts of things would happen that I didn't like. It's easy to shut off so no biggie. Great price. High quality. Superior sound. Top notch retailer (Best Buy)! Thank you. I highly recommend.

I love it. Feels comfortable, lightweight, best in class audio. I personally don’t think noise cancellation is top tier, I also have AirPods Pro 2gen and it better noise cancellation, but other than that they’re amazing.

I got this for during the thanking giving deal. I owned a QC 35 II before this. This has the best ANC and now it connects to two devices simultaneously, which is sometimes annoying as the second device keeps disconnecting and reconnecting very frequently (QC 35 II had the same problem). Earpads are very comfortable for short durations. Sound quality is very good and better than QCs.

These have been my primary headphones for almost a year now. Battery life, noise cancellation, and sound quality are all great, and they are extremely comfortable. I wear them while I am working often and they only start to bother my ears after wearing them for about 6 hours. I bought them on sale but I wouldn't be upset if I had paid full price.

I have been looking for headphones I can wear for a couple hours on a plane with comfort. These are solidly around not on the ear. They sound superb with great bass and clarity up high. They support two BT device connections at one time. When you use only one connection it has 360 Reality audio and supports spatial audio from Amazon music and Tidal. It actually is optimized for Tidal's phone app. It measures your ears and outside atmospheric pressure and optimized noise cancelling. The noise cancelling really works well. It also works with Google Assistant and Alexa. Pretty feature packed.

I went back and forth numerous times when I was deciding to buy these or not. $350 for headphones is a lot for me, I'm a budget kind of guy (some would call me cheap). I do love music and my wife was encouraging me to splurge on myself, so I kept coming back. Then I couldn't decide between these, the Bose Quiet Comfort 35s the Bose 700s and the Microsoft Surface Headphones. After reading a ton of reviews it came down to the newest Microsoft Surface Headphones and these. I chose these because the build quality seemed higher and there were significant complaints about the band breaking on the Microsoft set. After having these for a couple of weeks, I am extremely happy with my choice. They are by far the best sounding headphones I have ever heard. They are also very comfortable on my head and they stay comfortable for hours. The active noise canceling works very well and the "touch the right ear with your hand" feature to hear ambient sound is awesome. I have enjoyed many genres of music with these and found they replicate the music very well all ranges sound awesome. Even though I was leery to spend $350 on 'phones. After having done so I would do it again without hesitation. These things rock!

Having to share an office while working at home has been a real struggle. We both are in different zoom meetings all day and it was very hard to focus on my own meetings with all the talking behind me. I splurged on these and it was instantly like entering a personal soundspace. I can even have meetings while the gardener is working outside. It’s not that you can’t hear any ambient noise, it just sound muffled and far away. There’s a great feature that you can pair with two devices at the same time. It makes it easy to quickly switch back and forth between work meetings and other media. The sound quality is fantastic too. The best sound quality of any headphones I’ve ever owned. Also, my coworkers say my voice is clear in meetings and with noticeably better sound quality than my other headphones. They are comfortable, but I wear glasses and like all headphones can get uncomfortable after several hours of wearing them with glasses. The battery life is very good too. I’ve never run out of power even after a long day of meetings. They seem to charge fairly quickly too.

The Good: I bought the Sony XM4 headphones as an upgrade to replace my Skullcandy Crusher Wireless headphones. The Crushers are solid, long battery life, and sound really nice, but in terms of audio quality, there is a noticeable improvement in these Sony headphones. The clarity of individual notes or beats (I've noticed drum beats/cymbals and electric bass guitars in particular) is excellent in the XM4. If you like metal or orchestral music in particular, these are great for helping you hear all of the instruments and their effects. Where the XM4's are really impressive, and are marketed as such, is the noise cancellation. When using the active noise cancellation (ANC), all I hear is what's playing in the speakers, a person two feet from me speaking right to me is inaudible; it's great for really focusing on what you want to hear. Also, the impact on battery usage is not bad at all (you really do get about 30 hours per charge with ANC on, the Crushers got 40 hours per charge but have no ANC). Something new to me with the XM4 is the ability to connect to 2 devices at once with Bluetooth, so they connect to my phone and my computer and are smart enough to know which one should be the priority at any given time. This is pretty handy since you really cannot hear anything else nearby with the ANC on. The Bad: Now if they're as great as I've said above (and they are), why 4 stars instead of 5? Well, the XM4 in my hands seems to have issues with skipping when connected only to my computer if I am playing streaming audio rather than something off the hard drive. Yes, I have switched the priority to 'stable connection' and that doesn't do it. The XM4 only really works as intended (for me at least) when I put the Sony app on the phone and have the phone on and within range of the XM4 even if the only audio I'm using is on the computer (and the app cannot be installed on a computer). At that point, there are no skips and everything is beautiful. I don't think you should have to be stuck with the phone as an intermediary; the headphones should perform properly without the app and with only the computer, but maybe it's just me. My Crushers have never had that kind of problem, I don't feel that the XM4's should either. The Bottomline: All things said, the XM4's are excellent headphones that once you have them set up you will probably be very happy with them, especially if you are upgrading over your current headphones.

I love these headphones so much. They are the best ones I've ever owned. Great comfort and noise canceling, plus a ton of extra features to enhance sound quality. The battery lasts forever. Must have on an airplane!

This is the best headphone I have ever tried on. I had used Bose, Studio Headset, and many more, but this one is super comfortable, has best noise cancelling feature, best sound quality. Likewise, you can connect to two devices (what more do you want :)). And of course, it has the long lasting battery. . So, this headphone truly deserves 5 star !!! If you have enough budget, go for it.

I had been an ear bud user for years, but decided to make the switch to over the ear headphones. There's so many options so I've been going back and forth between the XM4, XM5, and Airpod Max. Finally settled on the XM4! I really like it for the folding mechanism and how compact/easy to carry while traveling! The audio is super nice! I'm sandwiched between noisy upstairs and downstairs neighbors, so I can barely hear them with the headphones on. It's also comfortable around my ears/head. I don't feel too much pressure or get headaches when I have them on for an extended period. Overall, a great pair of headphones! Happy to have snagged this on sale too!

Absolutely great! I just started my grad program so I bought these for their noise cancellation capabilities. I can say they are extremely helpful! I tend to use the the noise cancellation without any music so I can focus on reading and only light some noises make it through. Noise cancellation is absolutely perfect when I’m listening to anything! Come with a traveling case and airplane adapter! Bluetooth user easy to use and battery lasts a long time I can’t remember the last time I charged them!

I have been a sennheiser fan for a very long time and have owned each momentum model (wired and wireless) and have tried many other brands of wireless and found few that match sennheiser. This review is about Sony, so I decided to try something different and ordered the XM4. They are great noise cancelling headphones, great features, very comfy and nice looking. I fired them up and was surprised at the lack of clarity, crispness and sound stage. I tried to eq them and they sounded a little better. So they impress me as great noise cancelling headphones that can sound OK and have solid build and great features. There are a safe bet if you fly a lot and need maximum ANC, but the Bose 700 offer equal ANC and sound much cleaner with nice bass. There is something magical about the sennheiser sound that makes you want to listen to music when you should be doing something else or asleep. I am an old guy but like good rap and the bass on the m3 is perfect, rock the same, the richness of the sound and the majestic sound stage are just a cut above any other ANC headphone I've listened too and I've tried them all. The Sony m4 is a excellent noise cancelling headphone with great features and comfortable fit for a fair price, but if you really like music, give the momentum 3 a spin, you won't be sorry because they will take you a happy place that will make you a more content person, I promise.
