Awesome audio & battery for music & travel

They're also super comfortable and the battery lasts a really long time. Amazing headset for travel. The -1 star comes from the fact that the mic only works via bluetooth, not the 3.5mm audio jack. So I can't use it for Xbox/PS gaming (requires wired connection to controller).

Amazing headphone!

Once I made minor adjustment to the Eq, the headphone really comes alive. I have custom settings for certain genre that can easily be swipe through within the app. In the beginning, head headphone had a strong clamp to my ears but after a few hours of use, it seem to have broken in. I had these on for hours While working and they felt comfortable, but my ears did get hot because the suction really cover my ears. The anc is out of this world. I don’t turn on the volume to high, maybe 20-25%. My wife was talking to me but couldn’t hear anything coming out of her mouth. :) I turn of the speak to chat feature when I am outside jogging. It seems to pick up some noises and activate the feature. This thing stays on pretty good while jogging. I would recommend turning up the ambient noise so you can hear incoming vehicles. Overall, I am really satisfied.

I especially like the option that a 3.5mm audio cord can be used with this, not making it exclusively wireless

Simply the best

I watched a lot of video reviews before finally making the purchase and yeah they were all correct with their high praise of the XM4. The headphones come in 3 colors. I bought the black model. The headphone is light in weight and fits comfortably on my head and ears. The noise canceling works great. This should help with reducing the engine noise during airplane flights. There are a lot of cool tech packed into this headphone. Being able to connect to 2 bluetooth devices at the same time and the amazing 360-reality sound are just a couple. If you are not in a hurry, I would wait until the headphones go on sale to buy the XM4 which from what I have read occurs frequently. The XM4 is simply the best noise canceling headphones.

They sound great and are very comfortable. I have had them nearly a month and they are still at 80% battery. I wear them to the gym and working around the house.

I don’t hand out five stars easily but these headphones never cease to amaze me. They have more features than you could ever imagine. If you get stuck in a setting just Google how to get out of it by using the model number of the headphones. It has more settings than are listed in the instructions. These really keep the noise out and would be great on an airplane even in the noisiest seat. They charge in the blink of an eye and the charge lasts me for a week of viewing in the evenings at least. I haven’t had to charge them yet. I just wish the charging cord was longer than 3 inches. They really exceeded my expectations.

Traveling champs

Battery life is adequate and sound quality is pretty nice. The sound distorts slightly at max volume but I’m not hard of hearing yet so I would never listen at that level. These are one of my favorite traveling headphones. I wish Sony would have kept this build quality and upgraded the sound and technology instead of the subpar xm5 design. Xm6’s are not a good price to performance upgrade from these. Knocked one star only due to these being older generation without some newer perks available. If you can get these new and on sale, in the market for good traveling noise cancellers, worth it!

Excellent earphones

Best headphones I've ever owned

They sound amazing, have good battery life, have good noise cancellation, and work well wired or wireless. They have all the features I want, and are at a reasonable price. My first pair eventually quit powering on after several years, so something likely went wrong with the button. They still work great wired, but I got this pair to be able to go wireless again.
