Amazing wireless headphones!!!!

I was actually going to purchase a pairs o Bose at first but, after reading reviews on Sony's I decided to go with these. I am so happy that I chose these Sony headphones. Very light weight, easy to set up, sound quality is amazing and the pitch that plays in your ear is amazing. I highly recommend these headphones to anyone that is looking for the best bang for your money. Absolutely worth it!! Thanks.

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.These headphones worked out pretty well the function of some of the multiple point pairing is sometimes a bit sluggish while using screen readers as I am but the overall experience is not terrible at all they offer a decent way of changing the EQ which helps make music filled more rich I have been confused between these and the momentum 3 as before they came out the momentum threes had a good value proposition as you could use USB c and the only downfall for the momentum free was that it only offer 17 hours whereas the XM for offers anywhere from 20 to 30 hours give or take I do think that sometimes they slide off my ears a little too easily but well see how it turns after some adjustments as it might be the way it lays on my head another thing is that song called quality is not extremely the best but does sound pretty clear where people could understand what you are saying maybe some updates will tweak to make that better but the main thing is it is a good overall worthy opponent in the headphones arena and I would say between this and the momentum three those two seem to be really good headphones the only thing that the nc700 have to offer is better audio quality because it has more Mike's but the sun profile for the x and 4 is pretty good for listening to music and having clarity in using screen readers either on a laptop or a phone and still will have some experience learning more about it

Most Comfortable Headphones

I have the Apple AirPod Maxes and I would always grab these instead. Build quality feels a little cheaper but that’s what gives it the comfortable weight when on your head. A lot of headphones feel bulky and I can only wear other headphones for so long. These are comfortable, fit around the ear perfectly, and have great sound quality. After owning for over a year, there have been no issues!

When I talk the music stops and then it starts again! Amazing! The comfort is so amazing - doesn’t hurt my ear even though I have been using it for over 3 hours. Amazing over ear headphones.

I previously had older Sony 900 something over ear. They were really good. These were a big step up. These are amazing. Sound quality is great. There is a separate Sony app to change all the settings. There is a lot to adjust if you want but work great out of the box. Noise cancelling is really good too. Can hear much when they are on. Perfect for traveling. Battery life is long too. Nothing bad to say about them.

Small But NecessaryUpgrades from the Xm3

It provides the best noise cancelling in the market, has superb comfort, and an app that doesn't drink. It is definitely a bass heavy sound signature to start but the app allows for in depth eq adjustments. Included, you can now use the eq with ldac so that's a huge bonus. The touch controls work great, the headphones now pause when you take them off and auto start when you put them on. The call quality is far superior to the 3s. Overall, these headphones are well worth their price. I use them 5 to 6 hours a day at the office and am more than happy. Also I wear glasses and have big ears if you're worried about that. No comfort problems at all.

That being said the sound quality is still amazing, as well as the battery life. I use them for hours and I don’t have to worry about charging.

Comes with a case and usb type c cord. (Could be longer). Light weight and comfortable on the ears. You have download the app on the phone to fully utilise all the settings. At 279 it is really excellent.

After some research it became clear that for the most part a decision between Bose and Sony was just about a toss-up with each having features that would apply to specific users. I went with the Sony due to some sharp pricing, longer charge life and a "killer ap" the headphones turn off when removed. In use, I am not disappointed with my decision, they are comfortable for extended use, even without noise cancellation do a great job of keeping noise out and provide an excellent listening experience. Have not yet had the opportunity to test battery life but don't see myself ever testing the upper limits of battery life.

Great headphones! Just one problem..

There is an issue that arises with extended use, or more specifically, extended use with too much pressure on the earcups. Earwax manages to penetrate all the way to the active noise cancellation chip, leading to an incredibly loud, annoying, and seemingly never-ending high pitched ring. The problem can be solved by taking apart the headset but it’s inconvenient. Apart from that, the ANC and audio quality are everything you could expect at this price point.

Unbeatable headphones!!

I have been using them for the gym and it works just fine, all you need to do is take them off for at least 5 minutes so that it wouldnt mess up the sensors inside or too much sweating. I have used them for 2 flights and i love the noise cancelations. It allows me to listen to my music peacfully and the sound is on point, the bass is super accurate and i can hear every sound and beat. Also great for gaming, makes me feel like if im in the fields which is cool, just need to buy an aux mic to be able to chat. Overall best headphones that are unbeatable.

Best Noise Cancelling. Love these Headphones!

The Sony App is easy to navigate and set up. I don't like that Sony advertised 360 sound. You need certain music services if you want to utilize that. So I took a star off for that. Sound is amazing! My wife thinks they are loud at 50 percent. I love how they sound though! You can play with the different equalizer settings in the app to your liking. The battery life on these are great! Love the Noise Cancelling feature. I can sit in bed watching stuff on my phone while my wife watches TV and I cannot hear what she is watching. The USB C cable is very short, which I wish Sony would make it longer. But thankfully I have other cables that are long enough. Tried these and the Apple on ear headphones. They both sound great but having an Android phone I couldn't utilize all the features the apple one has. Plus they are twice as expensive. I was able to get these at a great price!
