Outstanding noise canceling/ great sound

The sound is great and the touch controls on the headphones is easy to use, they are very comfortable to wear even after many hours. The noise canceling is outstanding and i could not believe how much it cut down on surrounding noise. Totally worth the price would definitely by another pair if I needed to.

The design and color.... perfect. The noise cancelling feature is amazing! I had to look up how to change the setting that automatically turns off the headphones whenever I talked or even coughed....yes it was that sensitive. After I fixed the setting, I have to say these are the best and most comfortable noise cancelling headphones I have ever owned. Worth the extra $$ for this new version!

Truly sound cancelling. These are the best heaphones I've ever bought! Battery lasts me almost 40 hours. I use them at work in 8 hour shifts and it lasts me monday-friday.

Better than Beats Studio
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had a beats studio for over a year before this, difference I notice is way better noice cancellation, bass is also a plus... more hard bass hits... vocals is alright... beats studio dont stay behind much... battery is better... would i go back to beats studio after trying these? Never... I already bought another set for my brother in the same week, especially on sale for $278... touch sensors havent got used to them yet but the best feature is you take em off the music pauses you put them back and plays automatically

Their ANC is very good for its price range and the sound quality is really great. Even though these may be a bit old they are still a very great pair of headphones. The app is perfect for making adjustments on ANC and EQ. The case is very sturdy as well. The headphones are light but comfortable, for some people the it could be to small but for average people it should work perfectly well. They also offer LDAC so you are bound to get great sound quality over Bluetooth. These headphones are perfect especially on a budget and I would recommend these.

Awesome Sound Quality, Stellar Noise Cancellation

They are excellent at cancelling low-frequency and low-mid frequency noise, but not so much with high-frequency ambient noise. However once you increase the volume when listening to audio, the high-frequency noises are practically non-existent & inaudible. I hesitated before purchasing this product since it's a big investment. The experience is AMAZING so far with sound quality, noise cancellation, built quality, and battery life. I'd strongly recommend this product and can gladly say that this is one of the best headphones out there.

I love that you can choose between full noise canceling or ambient sound. The ambient sound is basically like not wearing headphones. After a while using the headphones my head doesn’t hurt. It has top notch premium audio and great noise canceling. The battery life is phenomenal. I’ve had it for almost a month and I’ve only had to charge it once. The only con is that it does occasionally get slightly warm to the ears after long periods of use. Overall, still a great buy and would recommend it to others.

Best over the ear headphone on the market

For me they offer terrific audio performance, quick battery charge, longer hours playing time and they’re very comfortable to wear while sleeping…. A few annoyances but overall well worth the money

Pros: light weight, amazing sound, grey battery life, the material used for the headphones and case are great, features like the auto pause when talking,and the app that goes with the app allows a decent amount of customization of sound (base, treble, etc) Cons: the auto noise cancelling is very finicky. Several times sitting in the car it would make an odd sound similar to having one window of your car open. As if it cannot equalize. The headphones do have a feature to connect to a second device (needs to be turned on manually) but I’ve had it reset several times. The app that is great is also not so great. Mainly because the app stays active one phone and kills the battery. Lastly, the grey or silver stains SUPER easily. It was the last pair in stock, or I would have gone with a different color. Overall, a strong buy. And these replaced the Bose QC135

The noise-canceling function is effective in low-frequency ranges such as airplanes, trains, offices, near air-conditioning, and is not as effective for higher frequencies, such as human voices. Check the setting of the Adaptive Sound Control on the “Sony | Headphones Connect” app. When the Adaptive Sound Control is turned on, the noise canceling function may become insufficient. When you connect headphones to a device, both the music playback (Media audio) and the phone call function (Call audio) are connected simultaneously. Most headphones allow multiple Bluetooth® connections to audio devices, however, to switch sources, you would need to go into the Bluetooth settings, disconnect the current source, and then connect the source you want to use with the headphones. Unlike many other headphones, the WH-1000XM4 headphones support a Multipoint connection. This means that the headphones can switch easily between two audio sources without needing to go through the normal Bluetooth reconnection process. For more details, please check the link below:

When the outside of the unit is dirty, clean it by wiping it with a soft dry cloth. If the unit is particularly dirty, soak a cloth in a dilute solution of neutral detergent, and wring it well before wiping. Do not use solvents such as thinner, benzene, or alcohol, as they may damage the surface.

Build, sound, and noise cancelling quality

Very lightweight. The noise cancelling is really impressive. Sound quality is very good, but only if you change the EQ in the app. I recommend lowering the clear bass just one point, and raising some of the mids — refer to my screenshot. Overall, highly recommend these headphones. I still prefer by beyerdynamic dt880s if I’m in a perfectly quiet environment, but these sound almost as good, and are usable in so many more situations.

I’m really glad I chose the Sony over anything else. For the price and performance the are the best deal out there. Pros : 30 hr charge, sound, noise cancelling, 2 device connectivity at the same time, and the app lets you customize the equalizer several ways. Cons: The usb c cord to charge them is too short. Yep. That’s it. That is the only con.

Great for glasses and earrings
