Great headphones

Very good to listen casually. I do workout in these from time to time and they are still holding up. Just gotta make sure to wipe it down since it can get very sweaty and wet. I guess if you want it to last longer then i recommend not working out in them. The cups themselves are very very soft and comfortable. I know that when getting helix piercings you shouldnt wear over-the-ears headphone, but i still wore these a week after I got my helix, I cant go without music in public and i hate playing music thru my phone speakers. It didnt irritate my piercings for at least 2-3 hours, which im surprised because my hyperx headphones hurts but these dont.

I picked them up for sale and now I got my dad some for the original price. They are the older versions apparently but I think they are in competition with the Apple Max’s I previously used for sure

The only downside is having to download a separate app in order to use the headphones. I also had problems with them disconnecting during phone calls. Overall, I enjoy these headphones and believe they are well worth the purchase!

Had a chance to try everything at it and it just works. Sound and noise cancelling is tops in its class. The only thing I would knock is possibly the build quality (it is light for a reason). However, that could also be a positive because you can wear these for hours and hours and not have to worry about fatigue. I had fatigue issues with a Bowers & Wilkins set I use to have. The best build quality of them all, but it was a bit heavier. As long as you take care of these Sony cans, use the case always for storage, you shouldn’t have a problem. Enjoy these. Sony just keeps getting better and better.

A loyal Bose Headphone Customer Makes the Switch

I have owned 3 pair over those 20 years and I have always like the headphones but I have also always been frustrated by their byzantine approach to the controls on the headset. So when my last pair finally gave up, I made the decision to switch to the Sony WH-1000XM4's. I am SO glad I did. I love these headphones! Great sound quality, very comfortable, excellent adapting noise cancelling and intuitive tap/slide controls. No more fumbling around to raise/lower volume, just slide your finger up/down on the outside of the headset.

Best headphones I've ever bought!

My only complaint from it not being perfect is the bass. I have played around with the app settings for the equalizer and can't quite get it to my liking. I listen to a wide range of music (from hip-hop to rock). I had a previous set of Sony headphones that were very bass heavy but the overall clarity of those were trash. These hands down blow them out of the water. Since the weather is getting colder, will see how the touch controls work outside. I know the XM3 had issues with the touch controls. Hopefully don't follow in the same footsteps. Oh yeah, another thing on these being perfect. Phone calls on these are crap. I've only had 2 calls on them and both of those were horrible. Both ends sounded like we were lost in a tunnel. Not sure if it was my end or the other person. Perhaps an update will fix this. Not a big deal because I don't use these for phone calls really anyway. Mostly for working out and casual listening. Besides those 2 complaints, I would definitely recommend these!

Amazing bass

The noise cancelling is great!

But the noise cancelling is top notch. Even without music playing it filters out most outside noise but when the music plays it is almost like being in an isolated room. The headphone battery life is long (I have gone 10hrs, off and on, on a single charge). The only ding I have against these headphones is that it plays a tone every time it automatically changes listening modes (indoors, outdoors, walking, sitting still etc) but this can be disabled in the settings. I would highly recommend these anyone who wants good sound combined with great noise cancellation.

Really, REALLY good.

These paired with Tidal is a whole new listening experience. I'm not an audiophile by any means and didn't think I would notice any difference, but I did and it's lovely. I listen to all types of music and they have the bass for hip-hop and the highs for classical. I also use these for Teams calls on my laptop and everyone can hear me without issue, and of course I can hear them no problem. Last note is, I come from the Bose equivalent and can honestly say these are better. Which pains me to say about a US company but facts are facts.

Great, but...

Got a long battery life too. The feature where it pauses the music when you speak is, however, the most annoying thing on the planet. I spend a few hours trying to figure out how to turn it off before just calling support and figuring it out from there. The hands free audio when you're connected to multiple sources on the computer is also kind of annoying as the hands free audio is (compared to the normal audio) complete garbage. I got around this by simply disabling the hands-free audio sound device on my computer and it worked just fine (with 2 or less programs).

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.As a *mild* audiophile, I appreciate good sound and enjoy hearing it but I do not wanna carry an interface in my backpack with a generator in my left hand to listen to music on my commutes and at home. And these headphones deliver, more than I thought. I grabbed it on sale but it’s really worth every penny. My only cons are you must use an app to control certain things (but that’s not entirely bad), and the worst thing is the times it’ll cut out and then start to lag with watching Netflix or anything really. Little frustrating, haven’t found a solution but other than that, awesome.

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.great! i use it daily at school, at the gym, just walking around... quality sounds amazing and its clear. im not a sound expert so its great for a regular listener. it is a bit to the heavier side so i can feel it on my head at all times, and it gets SWEATY at the gym. its not super bothersome for me tho,,, it keeps my ears warm in the cold but it does get hot when its already warm outside. the touch thing on the side of the headphones tho, a little confusing and doesn't always cooperate. anyways still loved this purchase

There are many small features that I like. Music sounds good and volume is varied. Battery life is great i use them many times in a day and only have to charge like once a week. One downside they do not connect with my Microsoft Go3 and you have to download an app to connect the headphones.
