Worth the money

Battery life was exactly as advertised, and maybe longer if not using bluetooth. Noise cancelling performance was great, although I don't have experience with the current XM5, so I can't compare.

Noise cancellation not working as well

Quality Headphones

The battery life is impressive and the sound quality is great. It also has nice additional features like pausing your music for you if you start talking. Definitely a good purchase.

XM4s - great value & continue to out perform XM5s

After listening to my son’s XM4’s, I knew there was no going back. After testing the XM6’s, while there are small upgrades, the XM4’s are proven and loved by many, including our family!

Amazing Overall

These are a big step up from the XM2s which I owned previously The sound quality is great as you would expect. Comfortable and minimal. The only nitpicks I have are with a couple of features, *speak to chat* & *pause when headphones are taken off*. The ladder is nice when it works, which is most times, but not all. Speak to chat however has become annoying. Its very sensitive to noise, not just your voice. Also it seems to activate even when switched off in settings.

I like how with the app you can EQ them to whatever sounds best to you. Battery life is good and the noise cancelling works amazing. I wear them in the car a lot and they work great.

Expensive but worth it

The one downside is you can't charge and listen wirelessly at the same time. But the recharge speed is fast and battery lasts long, so that isn't really a problem. You can also plug it into a 3.5mm audio jack, which the wire is thankfully included, but noise cancelling won't be available if you use it that way.

I also hate having them on so that I can't hear what's going on in my surroundings. However, I saw these on sale and they fit over the ear which was more comfortable. Not to mention the noise cancelling and the ability to still hear sounds around me in a quick second without having to take them off. The sound quality is second to none. My daughter has BOSE and these are way better. They have been staying charged for what seems like forever. They are a must-have to

They're comfortable, high quality, build & performance & the noise cancelling is OUTSANDING! You simply will not believe how well ambient sound is suppressed. You may not believe this, but, I assure you that I can't even hear loud thunderstorms with these on. I'm an audio production professional & know great sounding headphones when I hear them. These are definitely among the very best. You just can't go wrong if you buy these1

Overall good headphones

But switching between devices isn't as seamless as I hoped, and noise cancellation is also much worse than I had expected. However, they are a very solid pair of headphones overall, and they've kept in good condition for 3+ years and many hours of wear.

Best noise cancelling and bass

I had the previous version for a few years until they broke, so when I got these I was hoping they would live up to the XM3s. And they do! The noise cancelling is elite and blocks out almost all ambient noise. The sound is clear and the bass is the best sounding I've heard in headphones. The quality of the construction is great and they're comfortable to wear for hours.
