It has 3 modes: Noise Cancelling, Ambient Sound and Off and the noise cancelling is very good. There are some minor things like the battery and sensitivity to voice but nothing that is hard to get used to. It also folds up and the case is very hard so it protects. Overall I love these headphones.

Overall pretty nice

I usually end up with a headache if I use them longer than an hour or two. Great battery life. Sometimes they don’t cooperate with Bluetooth. They’ll be connected to something that isn’t even on and I have to go delete that option before I can use them elsewhere.

Former Bose, new Sony Fan!

Switched to the Sony headphones and couldn't be happier!! All my issues with Bose are nonexistent with the MX 4s. Longer battery, better sound (imo), better functionality with the controls since you have twice the surface area to work with... and the cheaper price is the icing on the cake!

One of the best over-ear wireless BT headsets

The ear cups are very comfortable and can be worn for hours at a time with minimal discomfort. A lot of convenient features such as the touch gestures, USB-C charging, and "hand over right earcup to talk to people" make this headset one of my favorite. The sound quality is on-par with the Bose, and I think the headband is more comfortable.
