XM3 to XM4

I really did not notice more noise cancelling than others stated. These are super comfortable. I wear them when I sleep sometimes, as the noise in the city can be overwhelming. Great price for the quality. My XM3 lasted for ever and are still great!!

Had been eyeing them for awhile, not thinking they were worth the investment, but as soon as I slipped them over my ears, I was hooked. It does a pretty good job of sealing off outside sound even without the noise cancelling on, and with it on it's pretty amazing. This headphone is also rests on the head quite comfortably. I haven't had it on for extended periods, so I can't yet attest to its comfort for a long a flight or a long winter's night, but so far, so good. I do recommend them, especially if you get them on sale as I did.

I purchased them when they came out in 2020 after watching a slew of reviews and digging deep into causal audiophile subreddits. This year I had to replace them as they stopped working :( but they were so near and dear to me for almost 6 years. I decided to upgrade to the xm6’s. Used them al most every single day all through college and at my first big girl job too.

They are very light and comfortable to wear for those long airline flights or just watching movies at home. I was surprised to find that I can connect them to my TV for the best surround sound experience when watching movies. The noise cancelling works really well, I often times do not hear people talking to me when I have them on. The case if very compact and sturdy.

I absolutely love that I can adjust how much background noise comes through. They are soft and comfortable. One of the best purchases I have made. They are a little pricey - but so worth the money.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sexiest, best sounding, CRAZIEST NOISE ISOLATION I HAVE EVER USED IN ALL MY YEARS IN EXPLORING NEW HEADPHONES (my experience) battery life is long and when you pair it with the sony headphones app you get so many features my favorite is the ambient sound mode it like turns off everything and turns on all the mics and it honestly feels like I have no headphones on so I can have these on listening to music while getting the perfect sound quality while still engaging in a conversation with someone next to me

I would get headaches from my beats over the ear headphones but I have no issues with these ones. If you think over the ear headphones wont work for you, these are a great option to try out!

The noise cancelling is really good, and like the option to have it wired as well. You will want to mess with the settings on the mobile app as well as it will help control some of the features that can be useful at times, and other times not what you want at the time like speak to pause feature. Some people might not like this if they don't want to use the app or using the touch panel to control the headphones.

They recently released the XM5s which apparently have slightly better noise-cancelling and quality but honestly for the price(especially during a sale) you can't go wrong with these!

Audio quality is solid and the Bluetooth has been very handy while traveling. Took a little time to get used to compared to open ear. Battery life is a little less than expected with certain settings enabled.

I bought a pair of beats studio and didn’t like the fit and sound was poor. For the price you would think the sound would be better. I exchanged them for these and wow they are awesome. The sound is great and super comfy. It took me a sec to get use to the no buttons on the headphones but I do like that you can turn them off manually vs beats that to turn it off you have to close them. So far they are running smooth and comfy. Def recommend.
