I had to download the app to my phone and synch it to all my devices. Took a few hours to familiarize, charge, and synch. It works great and fits comfortably. Love the noise cancellation that is built in.

World Class Audio Quality and Noise Cancelling

Has nice features to integrate with apps on your mobile devices to adjust the headphone settings, including acoustical options. Very comfortable to wear for extended periods. Love this color of blue. I have not tried all of its competitors out, but multiple reviews rate these the best noise cancelling headphones in the world (compared to any brand and price point). Love them!

Noise cancelling is excellent, there are tons of options and features too! I don't know if I would consider myself an audiophile but I can say that the sound quality is top notch. If you are picky about good sound. These are worth it. And the headphones are comfortable even while wearing glasses!

Thier size make them easy to transport. They have great sound as well and the bass isn't too overwhelming. I can listen to them for hours without being fatigued.

The sound quality is great, but the bass is a little bit too much for me personally, but it supports the Sony's app so it was fine. The DLSS Extreme didn't really "enhance" my experience, but it might be that I'm used to many kinds of headphones and compressed audio. Overall, it's a great product, but too many features that you won't even use.

Great Headphones, thankful for customization

The best sounding wireless Bluetooth headphones I have personally ever used. The sound quality is extremely detailed and enhances the overall listening experience. Applicable whether you are listening to compressed music files or even more so demonstrates attention to detail with less compressed, higher quality music files, such as on Tidal or Apple Music. The immersive capability with 360 degree sound and/or Dolby atmos is incredible. I hadn’t listed to roses by the chain smokers in years due to saturation/overexposure, and I listened to its 360 version thru Tidal and it sounded like a whole new experience with the nostalgia of first discovering the song. The noise cancellation is truly impeccable - you quite literally hear nothing outside your own world it creates. The ambient noise feature is quite definitive while listening to music, podcasts, etc. layering it on top of what’s going on around you - helpful in for when you’re in the office. The headphones app is absolutely necessary in my opinion as you can customize characteristics and more importantly disable any features that aren’t to your liking. Personally, voice to chat; ambient sound control; among a few others come to mind which I deactivated. They would interrupt or fluctuate the listening process. The ambient sound control seemed interesting from a conceptual standpoint, but it really tries too hard in my opinion. Scaling between full ambient sound and noise cancellation - now the scale is great, the mind of its own - take a lap buddy, you're not that guy.

If you find the bass slightly lacking, you can easily customize the audio profile in the Sony | Headphones Connect app. Go to the Sound tab and use the Equalizer settings; you can either select the "Bass Boost" preset or, for the best results, use the custom EQ and increase the horizontal Clear Bass slider, which is specifically designed to add low-end punch without distorting the overall sound.

The Greatest Headphones ever created

The last set of Sony headphones I had were the XB 950N1s. My older Sony headphones had lots of bass but the mid-range and vocals and highs were absolutely terrible. The enforce have blown my N1's out of the water! These are probably the best sounding headphones I've ever owned. They are also second to none for noise canceling. I would definitely recommend these doing one looking for a great set of headphones.

best NC Headphones !

NC is amazing, Sound quality is top notch. Touch interface is sometime a bit annoying but it will grow on you (still prefer physical buttons) It is light and comfy enough to stay on my head during 9to5 hours and extra. If you want to use this for mobile gaming , it works fine, I'm a hardcore player with PUBG mobile , this headset has been an extra help for my gameplay!

Great value + sound. Best headphones for the money

She initially bought the Apple AirPods Max, but those were almost $200 more than the WH1000MX4 (bought them on sale). Initially, one of the main draws of the APM was the support for Spatial Audio. For those that don't know though, Spatial Audio is just Apple's marketing term for Dolby Atmos. The reason she thought she needed the Apple APM is b/c she didn't think that Apple Music played Dolby Atmos/Spatial Audio on non-Apple headphones. By default, the settings in Apple Music are set to "Automatically" use Spatial Audio, but the "automatic" part is that it automatically transmits in Spatial Audio for Apple devices (APM, Air Pods, Beats). But if you turn the setting from "Automatic" to "Always", your iPhone will send the Dolby Atmos/Spatial Audio to any headphone that supports it, including these. The sound is great, the noise cancelling is fantastic and they travel well due to their foldability and carrying case. Fantastic value.

Amazing headphones

I'm not an audiophile but these headphones give a slight improvement in sound quality, interesting features like the one that detects if you have the headphones off and pauses your music. It's pretty comfortable as well and the noise cancelling is really good for when I need to study. Overall, these are amazing headphones and the sale made it even better!

Hands down the best headphone on the market

Sony need to do more promotions for these headphone. Because the only reason I even known about these headphone is because it was compare to the new Apple headphone. Bose is good but it’s price range??? You better off buying two xm3. Xm3 is also good, this is better with the noise canceling and the headphone last a long time, it been 2 weeks now and it didn’t have to charge it yet.
