Sony Wireless noise canceling headphones

Great headphones that don't last.

These are the most comfortable, best sounding headphones I have ever had. Better than a comparable Bose. The problem is they don't last. I bought them in 2022. After several months the battery stopped charging. Looked on Youtube, talked to tech support and tried all of the resets. Nothing worked. They sent me a brand new pair. I was very happy. Less than a year later the exact same thing happened. They sent me another pair. Now that pair is not charging. Talked to customer service and they said the origninal pair has a 1 year warranty, replacements only have a 90 day warranty. So 3 pair in two years, all with the same problem. Apparently this is a common problem because there are videos all over youtube. So even though I loved them I cannot spend another $350 on a pair of headphones that have never lasted even a year. Bose here I come.

The best headphones for sound

Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been heavily using the Bose Quietcomfort ii headphones for 3 years now, but after the ear pads had peeled, I decided to buy a pair of these headphones based on the online reviews that they were actually better. As far as sound and noise cancellation goes, they are! The sound is clearer and more customizable using the Sony app. The only negative with these is that if you wear them for more than 2 hours or so, your ears will start to sweat a little, but it’s not that bad. The Bose is more breathable in this regard, and therefore better suited to long periods of wear if you use them at work or during long travel. But in all other areas, these from Sony are superior.

Decent headphones for the money, not enough bass

Pricey but I was putting it on my best buy card so it’s cool. Out of the box these don’t sound that great honestly. After watching YouTube reviews and searching Reddit, after playing with the sound levels you can get these to sound really good. Only gripe I have really is there could be some more bass. Even with the bass at max it still seems a little lacking. The touch controls are great and easy to use. I really like the noise cancellation and the fact you can put your hand over one ear and it temporarily turns off noise cancellation is really nice. Overall good headphones that sound great but if you like lots of deep bass you might want to keep looking.

I tried a couple of other ones like the Shures...but what I like about these is they can fold up for easy carry to the gym. I use these for the gym and conference calls. I haven't really had to used them in a crowded office obviously, but they seem to do a good job at the gym. I was worried they'd heat up my ears, but no, not really. Sound is really good with soundstaging...I used these with Tidal. I think they were made to work with Tidal's master series. It's a bit expensive but compared to the Bose I had years ago, they are so much clearer. There is more definition and it's a lot less muddy bass.

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had to return my first pair since the right headphone was making a wind noise no matter the environment I was in while the ANC was active. Contacted Sony support and they said that this was normal behaviour, but for $350 I'd expect better. They refused to help me, so I returned those and purchased a second pair. I decided to get them again because I hope that I don't run into this problem again. These things are great! I've never had any really premium headphones before, so maybe I'm ignorant, but really, the should out of these is fantastic, the noise cancelling is pretty good, especially in day to day use, and being able to set a custom sound profile is the best. They added multi device support, so you can see listening to something on your computer, and answer a phone call without needing to switch anything, it's all automatic. Tons of features, and for this price point, these are much better than the Bose offerings sound wise. I bought some Bose headphones to compare and these blew those away in every field except the build quality. These have a lightweighr, plastic feel, but you get used to them quick - I stopped noticing after a day or two.

(I don’t leave reviews for any product) they are comfortable, actually noise cancelling and just overall great quality. Ever since I bought them, I’ve been using them daily. Great for studying, I got them so could focus on writing my masters thesis. Highly recommend treating yourself with one of these!
