Great for isolating during flights. Long battery

She loves them, they help her with isolating and relaxing. She likes them better than her gen1 AirPod pros for that purpose. The touch/motion controls are a bit gimmicky. The sound cancelling is noticeably better than my 40 dollar (on sale) anker q30s, but for cost, even on sale, idk if it’s worth the extra $180. The Ankers get 90% of the sound that the Sonys cover. I mow the lawn and do yard work with the Ankers. They work just fine.

Not bad but way too expensive; not what i expected

I only got them because i kept hearing that the bass is better than the bose qc 35 but they aren't, not by a longshot. I tested it with several songs and the qc 35s sound way better. Which was disappointing because of how expensive these headphones were. Also i did not like the touch sensor or the voice control. The touching sensor is very sensitive; the slightest little bump and your music cuts off. And it took me forever to figure out how to cutoff the voice control. Everytime i sang or talked out loud the music stopped. So it isn't very user friendly if you're new to sony. Overall i returned it 2 days later and im happy i didn't get rid of my qc 35s just yet.

The WH-1000XM4 is compatible with Sony|Headphones connect app where you can set the Equalizer which allows you to customize the sound that suits your music, change the function assignments to the touch sensors of both the left and right units and switch between enabled/disabled the automatic audio detection and set the Speak-to-Chat which helps if you have any issues while wearing the headphones.
