    I bought these for my grandchildren (2) and they love them. They have adequate noise reduction, but they didn't want to be oblivious to everything going on around them, and these are perfect,

    These Sony headphones completely drown out ambient noise - I sometimes wear them without listening to music just for the peace and quiet. Very good headphones.
