I was choosing between the Bose 700 and the Sony WH-1000XM4. I checked professional reviews for both and thought the Sony was a little ahead, plus price was lower than the Bose at the time I bought it. It is an excellent headphone, and don't regret choosing it. I like it that is wireless, the battery last for days, on the kind of use I have for it. I use it for Zoom meetings, for listening to music on my laptop, and to watch videos and listening to music on my phone. Noise cancelling is excellent, and has other alternatives that allow me to listen to my surroundings. Added to that I like the feature that allows me to pause the sound on he headphone by just putting the palm of my hand on the right ear headphone, so I can talk to someone or listen to anything that might be happening around me. Also I like the feature that I can control the volume, pause songs, advance to another song and more by gesturing on the right ear headphone.

I purchased the Sony - WH-1000XM4 during the Black Friday sale to program to my Bluetooth on my 2022 Samsung S95B OLED 55-inch 4K Smart Television to watch sports, HBO-Max, Showtime, Starz, Epix, Netflix, and Amazon Prime. I love these Sony Headphones and the noise cancelling. The sound quality of these headphones is awesome. I originally purchased the Samsung - Galaxy Buds2 Pro but they didn't feel as comfortable in my ears and sometimes they would get loose in my ears and fall out. Also, I get up to 30 hours with the Sony Headphones before they need recharging. I can practically watch television all day before I need to recharge them. The Samsung Galaxy Pro 2 Earbuds only last about 5 hours before needing to be recharge

Ok , so These are my first over the ear headphones and they are excellent. The noise cancellation is superb. Better than my boise anc. Very comfortable and sound is excellent too. Battery life is pretty long as well. I would highly recommend this product.

Use around the house some. Bought for a trip that got canceled. Used recently on a flight and worked great! Plan to use on a road trip in the near future. Have beats flex and a few others similar. The ones that go in ear work good for most part and blocks all noise. My sony are over ear making more comfortable. Blocked all the noise of the plane out. Blocks tv and stuff in house. When someone comes up and takes to be it let's their voice in, I can cover one side and let noise in, I talk and it let's noise in, all automatically. When I take off it pauses my phone or tablet it's connected to. Sound quality is get. They are expensive but worth it if you catch a sale.

it’s definitely comfortable even when you’re working out, the audio quality is very good and I love how you can play around with the bass features. battery life is very good. it’s definitely worth the investment especially when you want to mute the world around you and just listen to music.

I’ll keep this short. These are the best headphones I have used for music I feel like they may be a little over priced as almost 400 dollars for any pair of headphones feels like it’s too much lol but luckily I have gotten these on sale! Pick these up as soon as possible! My one gripe and I’m definitely in the minority is that every time I turn on the headphones it goes into noise cancellation mode automatically I wish I could turn that off. I’m not the biggest fan of noise cancellation as it messes with my hearing a bit and makes my ears feel funny.

These are very nice headphones with excellent noise cancellation qualities and I originally purchased it bc of the awesome reviews I’ve seen online however I don’t know if I’m the only one experiencing this but sometimes the headphones will unconnect randomly and if you use the duo connection for two devices. On most occasions the headphones will first connect to the other device before the one you want to if that other device is close enough. I use an iPhone XS Max and an iPad Pro 3rd Gen as the two devices I use the duo connection on. I found that this problem usually gets solved when you turn off this feature but because I use it so much and find it inconvenient to turn it off and on through the Sony app before using the headphones I just deal with it (that or I just move my other device really far away so that it won’t connect to it). If it weren’t for that I’d give these headphones a full 5 stars but yeah this is basically the only problem I had with them. Leaving on a good note though these headphones have the best battery time I’ve ever seen having upgraded from my regular airpod pros. After 5hrs of use these headphones still have enough juice in them to go another 3hrs! Def recommend to anyone looking for a good noise canceling headphones with long battery life.

I love these headphones. I’m sad Best Buy no longer sells it directly but they are affordable and sound great. Mine broke at the hinge. I now have the xm6s which are amazing but I wish they had bass like the xm4s and maybe the same comfort.

It pains me to not give this a five stars. I've had the previous XM3 model for over six years and the only reason I had to finally move on from it was due to extreme wear and tear. So I thought I'd upgrade this time. The XM4 is, for me, a downgrade. Everything I cared about is worse. The distance from my computer before the sounds gets choppy and cuts out has lessened. The headset is finicky with which device it wants to connect to. Sometimes I'll have to actually disconnect one device so that another can join instead. But then other times, it's perfectly fine? There was also this awful feature where it would attempt to auto detect my surrounds and turn on and off noise cancelling at will. This is on by default. I will admit that the auto shutdown after a few minutes of detecting it's no longer on my head is nice. Just wish I could adjust how longe before it does that. Wish it were 10 mins. I honestly wish I just tried to get the same model instead of "upgrading".

Nice build quality and sound for the price. Comfortable for all-day wear and the battery is great.

I looked for a very long time to find a pair of comfortable headphones that have great noise cancelling (flying even during covid) and amazing sound. I can say that these more than meet the bill. I have ZERO complaints about the sound. The noise cancelling is amazing - especially with the ability to temporarily let ambient noise in to hear overhead announcements and the speak mode. The comfort, while important, was beyond expectation. Anyone that wears glasses or now has a face covering on for hours at a time knows just how bad the pressure can be behind the ear. I'm happy to say that I have worn these for many hours through airports and flights and was very happy with the comfort.

I bought these specifically for their noise cancelling capabilities. They do that extremely well. I can block out all of the background traffic and office noise easily without even playing any music. They also excel at music reproduction and the app allows you to tailor the equalizer to your liking. I worry about durability as they are made of plastic and have hinges but so far they seem fine. I only need to charge them every 3 days or so. They can connect to two devices simultaneously.

Excellent feel around the head. Comfortable to wear for running and working out. Sound quality is excellent especially if you customize your equilazation. Best option for something more reasonably priced

As an audiophile, I've been looking for noise cancelling headphones that also have good quality sound and range. These have checked all the requirements so far, and more! They're comfortable to the point I can wear them 8+ hs a day, and switch between meetings and music seamlessly. The noise cancelling is so good my roommates need to signal to me in order for me to look up. I thought the gestures were going to take some time to learn but it hasn't been the case, they're intuitive. The remove noise cancelling to talk works really well. Too well sometimes. I'd be walking close to someone talking and it will activate. The option to have two devices connected hasn't worked for me so well, I had issues switching from my phone to my laptop with the result of the laptop switching back to its speakers. It might be my MBP, I haven't tried with other devices yet. She sound quality is excellent, as expected from Sony, the sound is crisp and balanced, with a good range.

Excellent sound, long lasting battery, great mood reduction and comfortable during a long flight. Came with an adapter and cord to plug into United Airlines.

Best pair of headphones I've used so far. The NC and the 360 audio is really impressive at this price point. I like the build quality a lot better than the Bose. I rarely have to worry about charging. Highly recommend. Also the case is perfect for travel. This is my second pair. First one got stolen :(

This is how music is meant to be listened. These headphones are comfortable to wear, lightweight to travel and the sound quality is amazing. Hands down the best purchase I’ve made.

Checked out a bunch of reviews comparing Xm4 and the studio pro before purchasing and I feel like I mad the best choice getting the xm4s noise canceling is fantastic and sound quality is good. The only con for me is that I wouldn’t use them in the gym.
