Perfect sound reproduction? Probably not, but it does a terrific job and I certainly was not disappointed. It is equal to but arguably better than Bose.

Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the microphone picks up background noise, so not useful for use in Skype/Zoom/Teams meetings. The touch controls take a little getting used to, but once comfortable with it they work perfectly. Upgraded from WH-1000XM2 which are great too - well worth the upgrade.

However the built in mic is horrible. My girlfriend said it sounded like I was in a tiny room and was talking quietly, so I ended up returning them to get a different pair.

This may be resolved switching the Bluetooth connection to HFP or HSP on your smartphone.
