Great headset

It is a little lighter on my head, so I don't feel it at all. The bass response is much better too, doesn't distort so fast like the other one did. I'm a fan.

Great headphones and on big sales now

Loved my Bose QC-35 but the battery wasn’t lasting more than 8 hours. The Sony headphones sound great and have amazing noise cancellation. The battery life is easily 16-18 hours. My only complaint is they take longer to pair to my phone and iPad. The Bose paired immediately. Since these Sony headphones have a new version out, they were almost $80 off. Great deal.

Very comfortable, easy setup and app has great useful features. On ear feel is amazing as well, the sound quality will blow you away. I just wish apps like Apple Music and Spotify would incorporate 360 sound for the full XM4 experience. Definitely recommend!

Good but not great; I'd pick the Bose NR 700s

At least in my experience, the Bose 700s were the better choice when compared to these and even the AirPods Max. These improve the XM3 that came before them, but still have lesser call quality issues when using on Zoom/WebEx and the sound is a bit too boomy when compared to more accurate headphones that are priced similarly.

The WH1000XM4 has a self-adjusting headband and soft cushioned earcups that cover the whole ear. You may try adjusting the headband slider so that they cover your ears. This will help give you more personalized comfort. Having unusually dry skin can store static electricity in humans. A large amount of static electricity in the body and having contact with electrical devices at the same time can cause stress on the device and/or on your body. You can avoid this from happening by wearing clothing of natural materials that can't store static electricity. For the call quality, these can be improved by updating its firmware to the latest version (2.0.7). The software includes key features, applications, bug fixes, and feature improvements. Real does a good job

They were more than I wanted to spend, even on sale. But I am glad I did and wish I had got them years ago. These work well. Use them at gym, beach and even at home if watching something when I don’t want to bother anyone. Just about tunes everything out. My wife’s not crazy about that. ;-) Battery lifer is good but not great when compared to my previous Sony headphones. Not sure but maybe something to do with sound cancellation ?

Fantastic headphones

I previously had a pair of Bose, which are also excellent, but in a different way. The Bose have better noise cancelling, but the Sony headphones have better sound for music and are more comfortable to wear for extended periods.

Better than expected

First thing I noticed about them is that they are lighter than I expected but still good quality material and the sound quality is great especially with the different EQ settings. The noise cancellation and the acuracy with the touchpad features ambient sound control is impressive. The pressure on the earpads is not too bad and the earcups have a soft memorylike foam which is comfortable and doesn't seem to make my ears too hot after a while of wearing them. The optimizer does seem to help make the earcups feel a little more natural when wearing them. I got this as a gift for my other half and wanted to test it before giving it to him for Christmas. I'm honestly thinking of investing in a pair for myself. It also really helps with studying and writing reports when there is a lot of noise in the house. The 2 way pairing also seems to be useful when I'm on the phone and using my laptop at the same time and decreases the hassle of having to switch back and fourth as I have experienced with earbuds. The charging cable that came with it is a bit too short but can always use a longer cable so it's not a problem. It takes a bit to get used to the touchpad swiping motions but It didn't take me too long to find certain ways to swipe without much hassle. It also seems to have a good grip on my head as my head is pretty small but I'm glad i can move around and not feel like it's going to fall off. The mic quality seems to be good. However, if the headphones are in a certain angle such as if you were to lay down while on a call, it seems muffled but headphones aren't really meant to be used when laying down so it's not too much of an issue. Otherwise, I think these headphones were worth purchasing so far. I also love how it comes with a hardshell case to carry the foldable headphones and the different cables that come with it which is an extra plus.

Once I have these on I focus increases like crazy. The only down side is you can’t really talk on the phone if they’re connected, you sound very muffled but that’s a given

Clean sound, a lot of modification options using the app, and great battery life. Great that the charging cable and a 3.5mm come in the carrying case. Only complaint so far is they can trap heat on my ears.
