If you find the bass slightly lacking, you can easily customize the audio profile in the Sony | Headphones Connect app. Go to the Sound tab and use the Equalizer settings; you can either select the "Bass Boost" preset or, for the best results, use the custom EQ and increase the horizontal Clear Bass slider, which is specifically designed to add low-end punch without distorting the overall sound.

Very good headphones

I purchased them when they came out in 2020 after watching a slew of reviews and digging deep into causal audiophile subreddits. This year I had to replace them as they stopped working :( but they were so near and dear to me for almost 6 years. I decided to upgrade to the xm6’s. Used them al most every single day all through college and at my first big girl job too.

As with the XM3s, amazing sound, comfort, and noise cancelation.

They sound great and are comfortable to wear and how convenient to use. I didn't like the sony app for these so much but once set up I don't really use it anymore. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone.

It was jusy time, and I wanted something different. After reviewing the differences between these and the bose quiet comforts, I decided to try these -and I’m glad I did! I would say my favorite aspect of these is the ambient control option -especially mainly using these at the gym, it has been very convenient while talking to people without taking them off. I used to have to hold down the ear buds to turn off the noise cancellation and it got a little annoying, while these did it automatically.

Great Headset

Got it for my work from home office. Being able to connect to two devices at once is great. The mic could be a bit better, but works sufficiently well. Battery life is plenty sufficient. Got it on Black Friday sale, so price was reasonable. I only wish there was a mute button on the headset, which is the only reason I gave it 4 stars.

Excellent headphones

The headphones don’t disappoint. They cancel background noise very well, the sound is really good with punchy bass, and the battery lasts. I’m glad they use usb type c which is the new norm. There’s also a companion app that adds features and is very convenient. All in all I am very satisfied with this purchase and highly recommend.

I also have the Bose Quiet Comfort 35 II's. They can't hold a candle to the Sony's. The noise cancelling is first rate and they are very comfortable. for long term use. I've had them for months and I can't get over how amazing they are! pros: amazing sound, battery life and noise cancelling. Cons: the fit can be a bit of a headache after wearing it for a few hours without breaks. but it's very snug.

It blocks outside noises, but when I speak it allows me to hear room noise. A charge lasts a long time and it turns off automatically. Plus with wireless, I can move from my computer without removing headset.
