Great headphones that don't last.

These are the most comfortable, best sounding headphones I have ever had. Better than a comparable Bose. The problem is they don't last. I bought them in 2022. After several months the battery stopped charging. Looked on Youtube, talked to tech support and tried all of the resets. Nothing worked. They sent me a brand new pair. I was very happy. Less than a year later the exact same thing happened. They sent me another pair. Now that pair is not charging. Talked to customer service and they said the origninal pair has a 1 year warranty, replacements only have a 90 day warranty. So 3 pair in two years, all with the same problem. Apparently this is a common problem because there are videos all over youtube. So even though I loved them I cannot spend another $350 on a pair of headphones that have never lasted even a year. Bose here I come.

The BEST headphones!

(I don’t leave reviews for any product) they are comfortable, actually noise cancelling and just overall great quality. Ever since I bought them, I’ve been using them daily. Great for studying, I got them so could focus on writing my masters thesis. Highly recommend treating yourself with one of these!

Works great with all my devices EXCEPT my android phone (Samsung Galaxy S10+). I can hear well with it but the microphone doesn’t work with the phone, so have to hold it up to use phone mic. First thing to say the UltraHD music on Amazon Music Unlimited paired with these headphones is lit combo. I was able to differentiate between the HD song and UltraHD song. Moreover the 360 Audio was good but in my personal preference, I vote for HiRes rather than 360 Audio. Further, coming to noise cancellation, it was pretty good, it blocks most of the sounds, but some times I can listen to engine sounds, its very few times. Overall the best Headphones I have ever purchased. I highly recommend for daily use

Good but not great

The noise cacnellation is good, yet the software could be better. While using on an airplane recently I could still hear the rumble/mumble of voice in the background, even though I checked all the settings and they were as they should have been. Like I said good, just not great.

Make sure to update the software version of the headphones (via the Sony Headphones Connect app) for optimum performance. We appreciate your feedback regarding the noise cancellation of this XM4. The noise canceling function works primarily on noise in the low frequency band. Although noise is reduced, it is not completely canceled. Adjust the earpad position to fit your ears. In additional to checking all the settings, check that the Adaptive Sound Control is turned off. When the Adaptive Sound Control is turned on, the noise canceling function may become insufficient.
