I forgot to bring these on a flight and definitely missed them. They are also great for an office environment, if you need to focus and get work done. The microphones are okay for the type of device, but certainly don't replace a headset with a proper microphone arm.

Recent purchase of Sony - WH1000XM4 is a nice upgrade. When the new headphones are on noise cancelling is impressive I barely hear surrounding environment. Audio is crisp and dynamic even when conversations are happening around me.

Great sound and comfort, finicky software

Bluetooth on Windows 10 PCs can be a little inconsistent at times and so can the app on Android as it can be impossible to connect sometimes. The app is needed to change certain settings like EQs or touch controls. There are times where I have to unpair the headphones from my device, uninstall the app, then re-pair it and install the app again for it to work again as doing the usual turning off and on the Bluetooth on the phone or holding down the power button on the headphones to pair don't always work to get the app functioning properly. It can also be difficult sometimes to update the headphones to the latest firmware as it will not always download it right away even with automatic download turned on. Overall, these are a great pair of headphones, just wish the software side of things could be a bit better.

The only downside is having to download a separate app in order to use the headphones. I also had problems with them disconnecting during phone calls. The noise canceling was what I expected outstanding. The quality of the sound was a pleasant surprise I knew the sounded good I listened to them in store but I had a chance to use them on a very long flight and I was amazed at the depth of the sound. I own a really good pair of B&W p7s and I really like their sound but the Sony set really were really quite spot on add the superior noise cancelling and this is my go to for using on flights.

They became pretty flat around 3 months after i git them, but i wore them like 24/7. I dont regret getting them though. I sometimes go all week without having to charge them.

I used the Bose headsets for a long time, it was not too bad. The Bose headset lasted a long time, but they new Sony ones are way better in terms of performance. Why not give it 5 stars. For one the ear holes are small for my ears and the noise-cancelling could be better. The sound is awesome, but for long flights your ears will hurt a bit and the you will still hear people snoring next to you.

With the “Sony | Headphones Connect” app, check the setting of [Ambient Sound Control]. If it is set to [Wind Noise Reduction] or [Ambient Sound], the effect of noise canceling is reduced.
