Hi Hitch, Thank you for the feedback on your experience with your new WH1000XM4. While we're glad to hear you like the industry-leading noise cancelation, we regret to know you're having issues with the call quality and audio sync with your TV. For call quality improvements, please make sure that the firmware version of the headphones is up to date.
The audio playback on this unit may be delayed from that on the transmitting device, due to the characteristics of Bluetooth wireless technology. As a result, the sound may not be in sync with the image when viewing movies or playing games. Hope this helps!

For optimum performance, make sure that the software version of the headphones is updated (via the Sony Headphones Connect app). These steps may also help when using the mic function of the headphones:

-Re-establish the connection between the source device and the headset.
-Select HFP or HSP for the profile.
-You can also check the settings of the app that you are using for mic sensitivity if available.
