Pretty great headphones, just not too durable

If you have an LDAC-supported device, even better - Noise cancelling is pretty good, and lots of options. Same with EQ - It feels comfortable on my ears. I also tried Bose QC, but these feel larger and fit better - Battery life is great. I have forgotten to charge it overnight while listening to music most of the day with noise cancelling, and it has lasted two days Mixed: - Support app is fairly cool? But kinda annoying that you need a mobile app to change settings - Gestures for media control are kinda cool, but you run the risk of mis-inputing Cons: - Build (maybe just personally). See below - With LDAC, you can only pair with one device (although I seem to be able to pair two with a DAC just fine?) This is actually my second pair of these, because the first ones stopped working, and I've noticed already that some features (namely, pause when disconnecting) stopped working.

They fit wonderfully over the ear and are very comfortable to wear for hours at a time. The noise canceling technology is powerful it really turns off all the noise great for a noisy office. And of course the Sony musical speakers are top notch. It has features to change the volume and it has a feature to turn off the sound when you talk which you can turn off and on. Bluetooth pairing is very easy.

After four sets of trying to get the Bose 700 corrected to no avail I decided to switch course and purchase the WH-XM4, my only regret is why I didn’t do this sooner. The Sony’s are AWESOME! Great sound, best noice cancelling, best App, best equalizer and best battery. 30 hours of battery compared to well you don’t know with Bose 700s, their firmware is all messed up, and after four pairs it only got worse. Sony offers a great, stress free listening environment. Music is crisp and clear, bass is awesome, however you like to listen to your music you can customize it to your liking. Great highs, midrange and lows and all adjustable. I have a wide range of music, so I tested them with all types of music and so far after one day I’m totally impressed, Sony M4s gives the best sound for your dollar, I’m sold!

I’d never owned a pair of over-ears that I could comfortably wear all day and even night. These carry on much of what’s best about the XM3s. The padding is a little thicker, which is mostly great, but actually just a teeny bit less comfortable than the 3s to wear as a side sleeper at night, if you happen to need to. It’s a really minor difference though. The sound quality is better than I thought any bluetooth headphones could possibly be. The noose canceling seems very slightly improved over the 3s. Battery life is phenomenal. I can’t say if mine actually reach the 30 stated hours, but I can say they get over 24, which is pretty incredible. The 4s also have the ability to auto pause if you take them off. That’s kinda nice. They can also pair to two devices at once, which works... okay. If I use that, I get more “traditional” bluetooth issues like sudden un-pairing and re-pairing at random times. When paired to only one device, however, the connection stability is superb. Overall, it’s a great pair of headphones. Personally, I’m not sure if they’re worth the price premium over the WH1000-XM3s. I’m also not sure they aren’t worth it, though. It’s a close call. I still use both pairs every day.

To connect your headphones to your Samsung TV, first, ensure your TV is compatible with A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile) for Bluetooth audio. You can usually find this in your TV's specifications or manual. Then, put your headphones into pairing mode by holding the power button for about 7 seconds until the indicator flashes blue twice and you hear "Bluetooth pairing." Finally, select your headphones from the Bluetooth settings on your TV.

Also the fact that you can fold it and put in a case to cary easily is so much better compare to xm5 or 6. Something for this price range is really good. You can always go for jabra or some senheiser but if you are looking for good audio and good noise cancelation, this is the best you can get for this price range which is wireless. The battery life is also pretty good. And with fast charging I get a decent battery just for charging 1 hour.

The headphones are comfortable, have great sound quality. And most importantly cancel noise when I need to. The only downfall is that the headphones does pickup sound that is extremely close by. For example, I may have the noise cancelling setting on at work, and keying in numbers on a 10-key. Because the key strokes are so close, (less than a foot away) and loud, it seaps through the headphones. However, noise coming from further distances the headphones do block out. Other than that, the headphones have amazing battery life, are comfortable to wear for long periods of time, and I really do like how taking of the headphones pauses the music.

We're all on slightly different schedules, which results in noise and disruptions (often, when it's least convenient). This headset has been a fantastic investment in sanity. I tried several different versions of noise cancelling headphones. These were extremely comfortable when I first tried them on. After 2 weeks of near daily, extended wear, they are still just as comfortable. The noise cancelling is excellent. Even with a lot of noise in the background, I can pay attention to online meetings (or just good music). Even without the active noise canceling, the headset itself does a reasonable job of keeping out low-levels of background noise. I charge them about every other night and have not had any concerns with battery life.

Sony is known for sound and high quality. These are an audiophiles....go to. Light weight. Can connect to more than one device. I have a Sony XBR z9f 65 TV. It connects with ease. Note 10 plus connects with ease. Easy n seemless transition. Here's how noise cancelation works....my shoulder has to be tapped on to get my attention when I'm walking or doing errands outside. For starters dont crank up the sound....train ur ears to listen at 25% volume and go up to 40%. A good head set does need to be blasted on high volume. From 25% to 40% your ears will listen to more sound than you never heard. Its like putting on glasses for the first time. Spend money on these headsets. 30 hr battery plus u can use a cord, can connect to multiple devices.

I had the Bose 45s and they were great but lacked the bass. The beats are good too but they gave me ear fatigue. These are a good mix of both. For being wireless headphones, the sound is clear, full, well balanced and the bass is present, pretty clear and punchy. Having the ability to EQ on the app is cool too. I recently flew to Italy and the noise canceling works great and they were comfortable enough to wear the whole 12 hour flight. As a musician, they also work great as in-ears both in live and in studio settings.

Best Noise Cancelling Wireless Headphones

The companion app allows you to change the sound profile to your liking and also allows you to disable the swipe controls on the side of the earcups. The noise cancelling is great compared to my old headphones and is best-in-class from what I've heard. The battery life is surprisingly long (considering the weight of the headphones) and will comfortably last for over a day. That is more than enough for trans-Atlantic trips to Europe. The only thing is that I wish that the earcups were removable so that I can replace them when the time comes. The hard case is nice since it has a slot for all needed cables. I can confidently put the headphones in my tight bag without worrying about the headphones breaking.

Worth it!

I would give an A+ for overall sound, noise cancellation, comfort and design aesthetics. I listen to all genres of music, the sound is amazing and offers full EQ adjustments to suit your needs. I'm not an audiophile, but think most people would agree with the sound quality at this price point. I'm a bit nervous about the durability of these headphones despite not having any issues. They are so light that when I fold them up to put them in the case, I can only hope the components won't break from standard usage. That said, well worth the money! Nice job Sony!

If you prefer on the sound quality side such as bass etc this is it. But if you are looking for noise cancellation might need to reconsider it. I would compare the sound system and noise cancellation as the AirPods Pro gen 2. Battery life is amazing, If you was to ask me, these would last me a good 2 weeks. Give it a try if you don’t like it you can always return it with the 7-30 days policy.

They are very comfortable and I can leave them on for hours with out any pain, I have even fallen asleep with them on before. They have an amazing battery life with me only needing to change them every 2 to 3 days. And they sound amazing like when I got these I got a hole new world of music. I also don't do good in loud places and these helped so much.
