Wow! There is a reason these headphones have such amazing reviews! I'm in love! Incredibly INCREDIBLY comfortable, great features, easy set up, and the sound is awesome! The only downfall is the addotional incredibly amazing 360 sound is only available through apps, which i have amazon unlimited but still wish it was available for everything every time! I've never heard anything like this on headphones! They are incredibly great without it but insanely great with it!

10/10, gives me my peace. After a long day of work, it silences all the extra noise so I can focus on my 5-9 after my 9-5.

For me this sonny headphones have the best of the best (voice cancelling, sound quality, design, the app top 5, weight) i really recommend it.

Amazing clear sound quality with the comfortable fit. The padding and sound quality is absolutely amazing. The touch pad features on the side are a bit inconsistent but that is the only complain.

First time spending a moderate amount of money on some good audio quality headphones. The connectivity is great and easily interchangeable with all your devices witch was a huge plus for me to be able to switch between my PC and phone. It will automatically switch for you if hooked up properly. I was really curious about where noise cancelling headphone tech was and this was a great example. Almost all ambient noise is blocked out from these especially if the ambient noise is from a distance. The closer it is the more easily it will still be picked up which is great if someone is trying to talk near you, you will still hear them unless the volume is completely blasted. Having kids these help out great for when they are watching tv or playing and having fun and instead of being frustrated i can still enjoy my content. I do not have a lot of other headphones to compare these to but the sound quality far exceeds any headphones I had prior even earbuds. They have extremely punchy and strong sound. You can get them to your desired genre preference using the app it comes with, Amazing high quality headphones at a reasonable price.

I was debating between these headphone and the Apple AirPod Max, I am so happy I chose these. They are so easy to use, lightweight, and have amazing quality. The only downside to these is that they take a little more time to switch between devices. I need to reconnect them to my laptop or iPad, it’s not too big of a deal! Overall, I don’t regret getting them at all!

I really really love the sound of these, the features, the noise cancelling, everything. The only issue is my head might be a little too small because the end up being held up by my ears and that grts uncomfy. Trying to see if I can make them work or if I need to take them back and try to find some that adjust a bit smaller to my head. Ive had to put a sock underneath the headband part so it doesnt hurt my ears, they are super comfortable when they sit right though!

Had no idea that wireless headphones could sound so good. Decent bass reponse. In addition the noise cancellation is excellent. I am in my own world with these on. No planes flying overhead, noise from fans, TV's blaring in the background and loud people. I have connected the headphones to my iPhone, MacBook, Google Chromecast, Two smart TV's and even my Desktop computer. The two device capablitiy is convenient and the phone conversations sound pretty good for both parties. The battery life is really good and charging is pretty fast.

This is the best Noise Cancelling Headphones I had. Sound quality is another area where the XM4 excels. With powerful and dynamic audio performance, these headphones deliver a rich and detailed sound signature. The bass is deep and punchy, while the mids and highs are well-balanced, providing a satisfying listening experience across various music genres.

(1) The noise cancellation is great when playing music/video but when only using the noise cancellation I can still hear people speaking, it's kinda annoying. (2) The low-end frequencies are great. I do music production in these using FL Studio and Pro Tool and they perform great, better than my Beats Studio 2. (3) The Talk-to-Chat feature is annoying. I usually turn it off b/c the headphones will pick up on me singing or laughing at a movie and switch me to hearing everything around me. (4) The touch volume is annoying it doesn't allow you to slide your finger from low to max volume, instead you have to do a series of quick swipes to change the volume.

I got a pair for myself and my wife loved them so much that I needed a second pair so I could get my headphones back for myself. Perfect for doing household chores and zenning out.

Excellent noise-cancelling ability! We travel internationally and the ability to cancel the loud airplane noise while watching a movie or completing a video course is awesome.

This must be my 6th set of headphones. All of the others were name brand; none of them holds a candle to the Sony's. The noise cancellation is perfect; if you need to hear the person next to you, you just put your hand over the right phone and you hear them clearly. The musical sounds are bright and clear; it's the best stereo separation I have ever had. Very long battery life. I have used these headphones more in the last month that several others in a year. I cannot recommend these highly enough.

Great sound and connectivity. Some laptops may have issues connecting. I added a bluetooth 4.0 dongle and it worked fine but when a call rings when connected to both the phone and Laptop while using microsoft teams I notice that the Laptop switches to the laptop microphone which if you are not aware public will hear you very low. I know it is a microsoft issue. It would been better if the cable for wired connection would have had a micropone so that in this case we could just go fully two way comunication wired . I did it by purchasing a cable and a Lavalier Mic and a spliting cable for both headphones and Mic. Another good feature would have been to have bluetooth connected to the phone and have audio and mic wired to the laptop . Again both devices can be connected via bluetooth and works great but the laptop is not reliable.

So I've had three sets of noise cancelling headphones in the last year and wish I would have just gotten these first. I had the 710n, which sounded good but is noticably smaller in the ears, leading to discomfort on long flights. Battery life is epic - easy two full days of use. Sony tends to be a bit bass heavy, but the app allows adjustment to your tastes. Noise cancelling is a big step up from the 710n - easily keeps up with an airplane cabin. Keep an eye out for sales as you can usually get them for $50 off or more.

Really love these headphones they are perfect for me! I am a college student and I needed something for comfortable for long hour studying and using them in the library. They’re perfect for what I need their is not a lot of sound bleed, they sit comfortably, and the battery life is amazing!

These Sony WH-1000XM4s have to have been my best quarantine purchase. They are my first foray into the world of noise cancelling headphones, and they surely don't disappoint. The noise cancelling feature is absolutely amazing, in that they cancel or reduce background ambient noises to a slight hum and greatly reduce the noise level of things that are louder and closer to the wearer. This allows for the best enjoyment of music in a more blissful environment. I also make good use of the quick attention feature, which requires the user to place their hand over the right earcup to pump in surrounding sounds and noises that allow one to have a quick conversation or listen for announcements (maybe if you are waiting for a flight or a train, for example). Of course, the same effect can be achieved by simply removing the headphones, or really, just the left earcup. Inside the left earcup is a proximity sensor that detects if you are wearing the XM4s - moving it away from your ear or taking the headphones off completely pauses whatever you are listening too and automatically resumes it once the headphones are back on your head. The touch controls on the right earcup are intuitive, and easy to learn as well. Lastly, don't forget about the accompanying app! From here you can create your own customized sound profiles if you don't like the way the headphones sound out of the box. There are also other features that may interest you that you can toggle on/off from the app as well, such as Speak-to-Chat (which is like quick attention mode but uses the sound of your voice to trigger it) and Adaptive Sound Control (which may toggle Noise Cancelling off if the headphones detect you are walking a lot so you are aware of traffic/your surroundings while you walk around the city) as well as others that I won't go into! Overall, a worthy purchase - these often go on sale for around $300 or if you have some Best Buy gift cards and want to treat yourself - this is the way. But hey, if you want to pay full price, I won't judge you - these are well worth it!

I went on a search for headphones with good sound quality, solid active noise canceling at a price point that made sense. These fit the bills and are overall comfortable while wearing my prescription glasses all day.
