Those were great wired headphones from Koss. Well, these are very different to say the least. And they are excellent. I'm no audiophile, no question. But love my jams regardless. Light, comfortable, easy to use. Sound is rich, full and clean. The Active Noise Cancellation comes in handy when daughters, granddaughters and dogs come over. I'm keeping them.

Amazing headphones

The sound, the battery it’s still amazing. Comfortable to the ears and automatically connects to your Bluetooth if its on.

The microphone isn't as great - when on a call you can hear the other line perfect but when you speak the caller has difficultly hearing you. Fabric around headband is delicate so take care not to drop or scratch. Overall excellent headphones and super comfortable!

Softest, Most Comfortable to Wear

These are excellent for form fitting softness. The sound quality is great. My only issue with them is the headphones smell like chemicals. That's a deal breaker for me, but not for my spouse.

But that’s where you would be wrong they still hold up to be some of the best sounding headphones to date. Also, I know people don’t like to download apps for a lot of things, But the app that works with this pair of headphones Is worth it because of all the features that it holds you can have a custom EQ you can tweak different options in there. The pass-through is really nice as well. There’s a lot of great features.

Great sound, flawless pairing on two devices, and comfortable to wear for extended periods of time. My only complaint was an intermittent, faint static sound that only was noticable between songs. The XM4's sound even better with no static sound. You won't be diappointed.

My last set was actually a pair of Sony wh- xb900n's, which I liked but wasn't blown away by. These blow them away. I like the fit of the XB's a bit more, but these aren't uncomfortable at all. The sound paired with the noise-reduction makes buying these a no-brainer.

The headphones are designed to be both comfortable and stylish. The sound quality is impeccable. The only con I would like to point out is that sometimes the headphones will automatically connect to other devices they have been paired with and will refuse to connect to my current device without holding down the bluetooth button and pairing again.

We're sorry to hear that you are having issues with Bluetooth communication on the headphones. If you touch an NFC-compatible smartphone to the headset while the headset is connected to another Bluetooth device, the connection switches to the smartphone (One-touch connection switching). However, the connection cannot be switched when talking on a headset connected to a Bluetooth-compatible mobile phone.
When an NFC-compatible smartphone is connected to the headset, if the smartphone is touched by another NFC-compatible Bluetooth headset or Bluetooth speaker, the smartphone is disconnected from the headset and connected to the Bluetooth device.

My XM3's are dying and the XM4's have updated Bluetooth to allow for multiple device connections. These may be two versions old, but the XM5/6's do not fold up as compactly and, as reviews point out, the headband may be slightly tighter. ANC is great and the sound is balanced.

Brought my headphones with me to work to see if I could use them in place of my Peltor workman earmuffs, turns out XM4’s have better noise canceling. There are a few annoying features. The app is very Sony, so half the features don’t work and the other half only work some of the time. The touchscreen on the outside of the right muff was cool when I first got them, now it’s just annoying, often increasing/decreasing volume when I want to skip a song. Speak-to-chat is also just a ridiculous feature, can’t use it in public, constantly activates when I’m laying in bed, turns itself back on randomly. It’s classic Sony, awesome tech, miserable software.

Best Daily Use Headphones

I work remote but the headphones work great for calls on all types of apps (zoom, google meets, teams, etc) and the ANC blocks off the background noise if you have some family. I only have the occasional connection issues but it isn't anything you can't fix with a quick reset.

She said she honestly cannot find anything wrong with them. Great sound and noise-canceling (she uses these in a hectic work environment), clever mute feature, easy connection to her cell or PC, comfortable. These come in several nice colors, but they did not promote this in-store. The price is a little scary, but comparable to competing brands.
