At the same time, the XM3s were the most perfect product I have ever bought. Therefore, this is also perfect. I don't like how Sony has treated the newer versions of the XM series, and this was the last of its kind. Huge fan of the XM3 sequel.

Headphones Creak/pop, but are otherwise great

I can’t really add to what’s already been said in the reviews for this or the previous model. My only complaint is the large amount of mechanical noise (creaking and popping) I’m hearing as the the headphones flex or adjust to head movements. They sound extra loud because everything else is so quiet. It’s probably made worse by the focus/study playlists I’m using for work from home.

I also love how comfortable they are in comparison to the previous gen.

The Range is Amazing!

Last pair developed a rattle and squeal recently, so I needed a new pair. Was frustrated with the terrible range of the Bose (basically disconnected beyond 10 ft) and hated the constant “connected” “disconnected” voice in my head. Was time to try something different. I love my new Sony’s! The range is fantastic. Upstairs, downstairs, outside and they stay connected. No issues with call quality (which was a concern). Customizing the sound in the app is easy. They are comfortable to wear all day and I rarely hear the voice in my head (but it is a pleasant voice when I do!). Glad I made the switch, and they were cheaper too!

I love the hands free fetures this headset has, it is great for the gym, Cancels out so much background noise and I love how personize you can make these headphones to your prefured audio experience. It had Alexa built in if you use alexa a lot this would be another great devise to add. Only issue i have with it is that the pairing experience is quite hard to connect to whenever i want to switch to use on another device but maybe thats just me, and also how when i run or move my head too fast it likes to slide off my head but other than those minor details its a great pair of headphones.

Really helped me during my days to study for the boards. I love going to cafe, but sometimes it could get really loud, but with this device. Can't wear them for more than hour (think podcasts). Dual pairing is brilliant (phone and TV) and swaps between devices automatically and effortlessly. I like the layout of the new app as well. Not a good a Philips Hue but way better than Sonos. Oh and yah they sound really good too :) I got them for $100 off with a my $50/yr membership!!! (so worth it).
