Those were uncomfortable tight and the touch panel didn’t work well, but these have been perfect in every way. Sound is good, better is amazing, and the software features are really nice - I love the “use palm to cover right side and turn off noise cancelling to hear something” feature, and I use it all the time. I would absolutely recommend these.

The only downside is having to download a separate app in order to use the headphones. I also had problems with them disconnecting during phone calls. I handed down the other two to my wife and son when I got this. The main reason for getting these is the ability to pair to two devices. I decided on the Blue color (XM2 were tan and XM3 were silver) I think the color is MUCH better in person. The copper "SONY" accents make these pretty classy looking. The case color matches the blue and the Zipper pull is the copper color. If you haven't had the Sony before, you cant go wrong. Price is better than Bose....and so is the sound and noise cancelling.

Great Noise Cancelling Headphones

They try to be quiet, but there are just constant minor distraction sounds anyways. These headphones are perfect for this. Synched with computer and MS Teams real easy. Can use with just NC function. Or can us use with NC and soft music to concentrate, or whatever helps you concentrate. With the NC on and music on low volume I find it real easy to focus on work. Music sounds great louder too if I am just listening to music.
