The sound quality is superb and really nice to listen to. I tried it as well and I love it too. Bluetooth connectivity is not stable - if you walk around it disconnects and even if you sit, it disconnects from Samsung TV and your show sound becomes distorted. From sound quality point of view, it is much better than Bose QC45 and Sony XM3. But if we consider Bluetooth connectivity, it is not as good as QC45.

I would of gladly paid full price. Noice cancelation is fantastic. I work in a factory. I can easily listen to books without pushing the volume all the way up. At this price point you cant go wrong.

I really like when I can hear the drumsticks taping the symbols. These headphones sound really good, but to my ears, they don't let me hear individual instruments so well. I returned them and are still searching. Wish I still had my old Radio Shack Realistic headphones from the 70's.

If I were to change anything it would be to swap plastic with aluminum and get rid of the touch gestures as they can get in the way and be a little hard to get down in memory.

Worth the upgrade from the WH-1000XM2's

First, Sony continues to enhance the incredible sound quality from previous generations of the product line. The construction of the headphones feels much more secure and solid as compared to the older generations which often broke near the headband. The slimmer headphones also appear to be noticeably less bulky on my head while being worn.

Decided I had to have the M4's when they went on sale, they work great. the noise cancelling feature does a good job of cutting out harmful noise in both of them, Music sounds amazing with these. the mic works well for calls even in noisy enviroments. Easy to configure the way you want.
