Hi Akash, thank you for your feedback. While we are glad that you like the sound quality and noise canceling function, we regret that the person on the other line can hear background noises when using the headphones for calls.

Make sure to install the latest software version of the headphones (via the Sony Headphones Connect app) for optimum performance.

Depending on the surrounding environment, wind noise may increase when the Ambient Sound Mode is turned on. In that case, cancel the voice focus with the “Sony | Headphones Connect” app. If the wind noise is still significant, turn off the Ambient Sound Mode.

For call quality, re-establish the connection between the headphones and your source device. Select HFP or HSP for the profile. You can also check the settings of the app that you are using for mic sensitivity if available.

Thank you for the feedback and we're glad that you are satisfied with the audio quality and noise canceling capability of our XM4. Please may sure your XM4 has its latest software version. Updating the headphone's software may resolve this issue or other minor issues and for optimum performance.
