I Love The Sony - WH-1000XM4 Headphones

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased the Sony - WH-1000XM4 during the Black Friday sale to program to my Bluetooth on my 2022 Samsung S95B OLED 55-inch 4K Smart Television to watch sports, HBO-Max, Showtime, Starz, Epix, Netflix, and Amazon Prime. I love these Sony Headphones and the noise cancelling. The sound quality of these headphones is awesome. I originally purchased the Samsung - Galaxy Buds2 Pro but they didn't feel as comfortable in my ears and sometimes they would get loose in my ears and fall out. Also, I get up to 30 hours with the Sony Headphones before they need recharging. I can practically watch television all day before I need to recharge them. The Samsung Galaxy Pro 2 Earbuds only last about 5 hours before needing to be recharge

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Well.. ive been saving up for these for a while now.. i work nights and its extremely hard for me to sleep during the day.. i figure l try out sonys anc and listen to some meditation music and see id that works.. the xm4s literally saved my life.. i sleep like a baby every day.. super comfortable, blocks out almost everything when i have some light music playing.. and sound quality is top notch definitely the best headphones ive ever had.. especially with the app you can really fine tune them to fit what your going for.. xm4s are on point! Only minor gripe.. is that i have a really small head haha so most headphones come off pretty easily.. i do wish they made the adjustments a little more accomodating for that.. but its still a lot better than most headphones in that regard.. again super comfortable.. 5 stars for sure!

These are the best headphones I have used for music I feel like they may be a little over priced as almost 400 dollars for any pair of headphones feels like it’s too much lol but luckily I have gotten these on sale! Pick these up as soon as possible! My one gripe and I’m definitely in the minority is that every time I turn on the headphones it goes into noise cancellation mode automatically I wish I could turn that off. I’m not the biggest fan of noise cancellation as it messes with my hearing a bit and makes my ears feel funny.

I checked professional reviews for both and thought the Sony was a little ahead, plus price was lower than the Bose at the time I bought it. It is an excellent headphone, and don't regret choosing it. I like it that is wireless, the battery last for days, on the kind of use I have for it. I use it for Zoom meetings, for listening to music on my laptop, and to watch videos and listening to music on my phone. Noise cancelling is excellent, and has other alternatives that allow me to listen to my surroundings. Added to that I like the feature that allows me to pause the sound on he headphone by just putting the palm of my hand on the right ear headphone, so I can talk to someone or listen to anything that might be happening around me. Also I like the feature that I can control the volume, pause songs, advance to another song and more by gesturing on the right ear headphone.

Used recently on a flight and worked great! Plan to use on a road trip in the near future. Have beats flex and a few others similar. The ones that go in ear work good for most part and blocks all noise. My sony are over ear making more comfortable. Blocked all the noise of the plane out. Blocks tv and stuff in house. When someone comes up and takes to be it let's their voice in, I can cover one side and let noise in, I talk and it let's noise in, all automatically. When I take off it pauses my phone or tablet it's connected to. Sound quality is get. They are expensive but worth it if you catch a sale.

The noise cancellation is superb. Better than my boise anc. Very comfortable and sound is excellent too. Battery life is pretty long as well. I would highly recommend this product.

Phenomenal noise cancelling

They do that extremely well. I can block out all of the background traffic and office noise easily without even playing any music. They also excel at music reproduction and the app allows you to tailor the equalizer to your liking. I worry about durability as they are made of plastic and have hinges but so far they seem fine. I only need to charge them every 3 days or so. They can connect to two devices simultaneously.

Very nice headphones but the BTH connection

Owned for 2 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.These are very nice headphones with excellent noise cancellation qualities and I originally purchased it bc of the awesome reviews I’ve seen online however I don’t know if I’m the only one experiencing this but sometimes the headphones will unconnect randomly and if you use the duo connection for two devices. On most occasions the headphones will first connect to the other device before the one you want to if that other device is close enough. I use an iPhone XS Max and an iPad Pro 3rd Gen as the two devices I use the duo connection on. I found that this problem usually gets solved when you turn off this feature but because I use it so much and find it inconvenient to turn it off and on through the Sony app before using the headphones I just deal with it (that or I just move my other device really far away so that it won’t connect to it). If it weren’t for that I’d give these headphones a full 5 stars but yeah this is basically the only problem I had with them. Leaving on a good note though these headphones have the best battery time I’ve ever seen having upgraded from my regular airpod pros. After 5hrs of use these headphones still have enough juice in them to go another 3hrs! Def recommend to anyone looking for a good noise canceling headphones with long battery life.

I can say that these more than meet the bill. I have ZERO complaints about the sound. The noise cancelling is amazing - especially with the ability to temporarily let ambient noise in to hear overhead announcements and the speak mode. The comfort, while important, was beyond expectation. Anyone that wears glasses or now has a face covering on for hours at a time knows just how bad the pressure can be behind the ear. I'm happy to say that I have worn these for many hours through airports and flights and was very happy with the comfort.

I saw these on sale last year around this time and I did a big mistake thinking they would be on sale a few weeks before Christmas but they weren’t and I ended up buying them but I returned them because of the price which was full price. So when they came around the holidays again this year, I didn’t hesitate when I saw the price drop to the same one as last year. In my opinion, they are the best ones comfort sound and price. I’d rather buy these than the Apple headphones.

They worked great to dampen the super loud plane ride. The batter lasted the whole 6 hour flight and more. I have been using them as my computer headphones as well and I really like the sound quality. The one issue I have with them is I have to keep turning off the Speak Through feature, which is annoying. I use the app to turn it off but maybe once a week it is turned back on and I go to talk to my cat, dog or wife and it pauses my music/movie and it lasts for too long in my opinion. So I turn it off again. I really wish it would stop doing that.

I got these headphones in particular after being told they aren’t harsh on the ears, which is an important thing for me. They fit and feel wonderful, even with all of my earrings on. As for the actual sound of the headphones, everything sounds great to me. The noise canceling is especially great since I use these in noisy environments and hardly anything distracts me from my work when I have these on. So if you are looking to get headphones, these are a great option.
