||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had the Sony XB900. I heard great things about the XM series and decided to give them a try. To be honest, I'm not sure what the big deal is about them. Yes, sound is clearer and Noise Cancelling is better than the XB900. If you compare the Noise Cancelling to the Airpod Pros, they aren't near as good as Airpods Pros. The bass is there, but not as full or deep as it was on the XB900. In conclusion, if you'd like headphones with clear sound and above average bass, you can't go wrong with these. But if you are hoping they have a deep bass punch, I recommend looking somewhere else. Personally, I will be going back to the XB900.

Multiple devices connection and no latency. The improved noise cancellation is a little bit more effective on higher frequency. I really love the memory foam and the right pressure of the head band. Too high, uncomfortable; too low, ineffective noise cancellation. Something I need to say: it does get hot and uncomfortable after 1 hour, but this is the satisfaction you have to take for good seal and noise cancellation. Recommend this to people who haven’t bought 1000xm3.

These are terrific headphones, your music is meant for these type of headphones. I went through all the ear buds from Sony new ones(which are good but they hurt with the ear tips given) & Bose earbuds(which are the best on the market) these headphones are an instant grab & you wont regret these. Only thing that can possibly take away from these are the material is plastic but feel like air on your head.

The only bummer is you cannot use it while it is charging. Not sure if the others can be used while charging either. Just make sure you keep track of the battery and charge at night.

Even better than the mighty Bose 700

In my opinion, the Sony's are just as comfortable, seem to have better sound quality (especially with bass response), and slightly better noise cancellation...though I haven't tried out the various adaptive modes. Most importantly, they maintain a stable bluetooth connection to my devices.

Sounds great w/ PlayStation 5 but...

While as of right now they will not sync up via Bluetooth they do plug in to the PS5 controller. They have an app you can put on your phone to customize the way they sound. 3D audio is amazing. You can hear an enemy’s breath. Birds in the distance. Phenomenal headphones! Maybe Sony could step up their game in the future and make these compatible for Bluetooth sync in a future PS5 update?... Hope they will anyway. The headphones are the best I’ve ever owned.

Great Premium Headset

For the price, these are great. Sure, you can pay more for QC45’s or AirPod Max’s, but for 95% of users this would be more than satisfied with these compared to other premium noise canceling headsets. The only benefit that the QC45s hold over these is the more neutral sound out of the box. With a bit of tweaking, I got these to the same level (they came a bit too bass heavy as a default).

Living on EZ street with these

My use case mainly being to focus on my schoolwork with my SO watches TV next to me. Where I cannot hear the TV unless an action scene is occuring.

I usually buy the Apple Beats headphones, but these are so much better in every way— physically, functionally, and musically. Plus, the noise cancellation feature is absolutely OP. I got this headphone discounted and definitely worth the purchase. Only complaint is that the earmuffs are a little big, but I think it’s a small price to pay.
