Love the touch controls too. I mostly use them when flying. They do a great job cancelling out noise in the plane. Sound quality is excellent. They pack up really well, and the case is of good quality.

Almost perfect with some quirks

Noise cancelling is very good. Sound quality seems also very good. Folds neatly into a small carrying case. Cool color (midnight blue) Needs improvement: This is my personal preference but volume control, swiping up on right cup feels awkward. Forward and backward feels natural. Adaptive sound control didn't work well for me. When I tried it, it kept changing mode every 30 seconds or so. I just turned it off. Overall, I really like it. Even more so when I got money back because price dropped within 2 weeks of purchase

I am not well versed in tech but the sound quality, noise canceling and comfort these provide are outstanding. I never found headphones to be comfortable until I put these on. From the experience we have had so far, 100% would recommend.

Best sounding headphones, with one annoying issue

They were very comfortable, easy to use, and sounded great. They could pair with 2 devices at once, so I could use them with my Iphone and Macbook together. I ultimately returned these though due to an annoying hissing sound in the right ear cup. I had tried many things to correct it, but after looking it up online, I saw many people with the same issue. The problem is with the way the noise cancelling corrects for quiet environments. If I deactivate the noise cancelling, the hissing goes away. However, I bought these to be ultra quiet. Hopefully Sony with correct this issue so I can buy an updated version.

Better than the Bose QC35 II

Owned for 2 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I replaced a pair of Bose QC35 IIs with these headphones, and I would say that while the Bose headphones are very good, the XM4 is superior in nearly every respect, with regard to ANC effectiveness, sound quality, bass. I'm a little annoyed, with long hair, with the double-tap to pause feature though, it takes a few tries to get right sometimes, and I miss having an actual button for that like with the QC35 IIs

Personally, I love how you can customize the sound and the bass when listening to music. It’s like like I can hear each instrument while also being able to hear the song. Only thing I don’t like is that I can’t connect them to my PS5 via bluetooth, using the cord can be annoying at times.

It sounds great, comfortable for your ear and light weight. Case is convenient to travel with. The only issue I had “my ears gets hot after an hour or so” which is not comfortable for me. I don’t over the ear headphones are for me. 10/10

To prevent the earpads from getting too hot and to ensure a comfortable fit and to use the unit for longer periods, please adjust the left and right slider. This unit also has super-soft, pressure-relieving earpads foamed urethane that evenly distributes pressure. Hope this helps!

Excellent Sound Quality and Noise Cancellation

The sound quality is superb, especially for the price. The model is already a couple of years old but abosutely worth it. I honestly forget to charge it because the battery life is that good. They’re nice to use around the house when I’m cleaning, when I’m working and needing to concentrate, or if I simply want to lounge and listen to music. They’re comfortable. The sound is awesome. I like how you’re able to use the google assistant. I contemplated going for the beats because of their price, and I am happy I didn’t make that mistake. These are more expensive, but they are well worth the money spent

I use them in the bus and train regularly, and I hear very little background noise. The feature set is unparalleled! These headphones hold a charge for 2 weeks when used only a few hours daily. The voice text notifications, voice battery power indicator, and built-in Google Assistant are super useful features I'd never had on headphones before. If you can afford these, buy them.
