Turned on? Oh my goodness. Fired up the "Blade Runner" vinyl and quickly had my mind blown. The Sony Headphones app is great and easily allows you to connect to devices, update firmware, EQ and more. I usually buy the Apple Beats headphones, but these are so much better in every way— physically, functionally, and musically. Plus, the noise cancellation feature is absolutely OP. I got this headphone discounted and definitely worth the purchase. Only complaint is that the earmuffs are a little big, but I think it’s a small price to pay.

I use it to listen to music primarily when im winding down before bed. It pairs really fast and I really like how you can fine tune and adjust sound settings. The case is great too as it is durable and folds neatly inside the case. Perfect for travel too as it blocks out the outside noise with the noise cancelling feature. Uses USB-C charging which works great if you are an Apple user. These headphones are expensive but think of it as a worthy investment!

I had the originals and decided to upgrade to the Mk 4s. The noise cancellation is amazing. I can sit right next to a window air conditioner and hear nothing but silence. Sound quality is very good in most aspects. The bass is a little heavy at low volume and a little light at very high volumes, but overall it's still pleasing. The speak to talk feature is clever. And the ability to focus on voices and filter out other sounds works better than I expected. All in all, I'm pleased.

My TV wouldn't turn up the volume high enough for my liking so I use an aux chord to my controller. I use the dolby atmos app on my Xbox and it really brought these headphones to life. It makes games and movies sound much more full and dynamic. Using them on my phone is flawless. Music sounds fantastic and podcast sound rich. The app is easy to use and I like that you can adjust the eq settings. The noise canceling works great too!

It's finally the time to upgrade! The Mark 4 has excellent sound quality and NC capabilities. I love the multi-point function, which solved a long-standing pain point for the 1000X series and is perfect for working from home.

They noise cancel quite well, and of course, the quality is great. my only issues are that they fall off my head if i move back too much sometimes (but that might be because i have a small head lol) and they do leak noise at a certain volume. other than these minor issues, they’re great!!

I caught them on sale shortly before Christmas. I have tested them on several occasions around the house, and the noise cancellation works great. The true test will be on my next flight. I purchased them primarily for air travel so it will filter out engine noise and chatter. The speak-to-chat feature is kinda annoying when conducting a phone call, but thankfully it can be deactivated.

But you are right in relation to the touch control. I'm not getting the pause when I double tap, that I do when I use my Bose in NC700s. However the volume up and the forward and reverse or should I say forward track and previous track. Does seem to work.

The sensor of the touch sensor control panel is built into the flat surface of the right unit. Operate within the range of the sensor. When you swipe your finger forward/backward or up/down on the touch sensor control panel, the touch sensor control panel may not work correctly depending on the angle at which the headset is worn or the direction your head is facing. Also, the headset will not operate correctly when you operate the headset with your fingernail or a gloved hand. Remove your glove, and operate the headset with the ball of your finger.

I bought these to replace my Beats Studios from 2011 after they finally kicked the bucket and everything is a huge upgrade. The ANC, features in the app, auto pause, two devices at once, ambient sound when talking to anyone. I could go on an on but they aree perfect for my needs as a software developer working from home. I would recommend these to anyone as these are the best headphones I have ever owned.
