Blocks Loud Roommate Within 5 Feet

Had I not gotten these, I would have been left with my hair balding from the amount of stress built up from living with an inconsiderate roommate. The noise cancelling is immaculate and the padding is so comfortable.

I bought both these, and the Bose 700s and took the 700s back. These have a much fuller sound and higher quality app on your phone, while the Bose seemed a bit synthetic in its sound and lacked the bass I was looking for. I literally recommend these to all my friends. They’re heavy, have a high quality feel, and the sound is perfect. The noise cancelation is also amazing, although I’d give these a 9/10 in that category and the Bose a 10/10. Just being honest. Ps: these were also $30 cheaper at time of purchase (350 vs 380 for Bose)

I never like going out but with the headphone and music on, it’s awesome! My workout is so regular with this, can’t take it off my ears lol.So perfect to keep my surrounding aware and definitely the quality of music is so good!! Can switch automatically from phone to laptop making it great for work 2. Noise cancellation is great 3. Nice humble look that looks good anywhere 4. Automatically pauses when you speak if you want 5. You can put your hand on the headphones to have a conversation without removing the headphones. 6. Great case design Cons 1. Auto switch between phone and laptop is not refined and will interrupt a teams meeting if you get a call on your phone. (There may be a setting I am not aware of to stop this) 2. If you have it set to pause when you speak, it can mistake other noises and pauses at random. If you are in a loud environment or tend to think out loud this setting should be turned off 3. The can be uncomfortable after long periods of time. 4.

Great headphones with a few drawbacks

Pretty comfortable, but the headphones did squeeze my head somewhat. The sound is very good, but not for audiophiles. I would recommend using the Sony app's equalizer or (if using a computer) some sort of equalizer software to re-balance the headphones (bringing up the mids). Re-balancing makes a big difference. The Sony App also needs some work. For example, when I am playing a podcast and then set the headphones down (which automatically stops the playback) - when I put the headphones back on, the Sony app and the headphones don't resume playing the podcast, but instead resume playing music on a music app that isn't even opened! Sony can do better than this.

We regret to hear you're having issue resuming playback on these headphones. To better isolate this issue, can you tell us what app are you using to listen to podcast? Does this issue happen on other music apps as well?
The connected device or playback application you are using may not support the wearing detection automatic music playback pause and resume function.
For now, please try to initialize the headset. Turn off the headset while the USB Type-C cable is disconnected and then press and hold the (power) button and the CUSTOM button simultaneously for 7 seconds or more. The indicator (blue) flashes 4 times, and the headset is initialized.

For my use case

I also had the MX3s, but the LDAC support makes these stand out for me. The notice cancellation blocks out my tractor or blower effectively, would not be caught without it. I did not expect them to provide the best audio quality but their configurable flexibility makes them decent. I have other headphones and amps I use for audiophile-level audio quality, but these are perfect for what I use them for.
