I have iPods Pro 2s. I have the Sony XM4 buds, Samsung Pro buds, Pixel Buds Pro and even some nice Sennheiser open back studio headphones. The sound, comfort, ease of use and look of these headphones are by far my favorite of all. I also love that I can plug them in with a regular headphone jack to my work computer. The case is nice, the blue color I bought is beautiful. I waited so long to buy these because i had so many other headphones and really didnt need them. When they went on sale for $199 I couldn’t resist and im glad i didnt. They are amazing headphones and the noise cancellation is also top notch.

I've been meaning to get a new pair for a while (I'm on the PC 24/7 streaming and working on art), and I've been looking at a pair of Sony's for years thanks to ANIME! My old pair was hurting my ears, good excuse, I don't regret my purchase. Love the style and color but I also love how almost versatile it is. The AUX port works very well when I need that direct connection but I've also been loving the wireless connection with my Phone (Pixel 7). There's also this automatic noise suppression and it's been a blessing so when I'm on a run I can still hear cars coming to get out of the way. The battery life is also SO GOOD, the range of the bluetooth is so far, I can go all the way to the basement while my phone is in my room (1st Floor, opposite side of the house). The price might be steep, but the quality is so worth it.

I really like the comfortability and battery life of these headphones. The sound quality is very good. The noise cancelling is excellent outdoors and in the office. It's great to drown out the co-worker that has a conversation so loud its almost uncomfortable at 50 ft away. The app to connect and control works well on Android.

I have never treated myself to nice headphones, I have only used the free bud set whenever I have upgraded my phone. With the lines starting to fray, I decided to do some research and buy a pair of bluetooth over the ear headphones. All blogs and reviews pointed to Sony WH-1000XM4, and when I went to Best Buy and tried them out vs others it confirmed it. Not only do they perform incredibly well- audio quality, bluetooth range, noise cancelling efficiency- but they are comfortable and really aesthetically pleasing. My husband bought the other main contender (Bose 700) and we were able to compare directly using the same songs. Though I think the audio is slightly better with them (more layered), Sony wins everywhere else and I am really glad I chose them.

I’ve had these for a bit over two years now and used and abused these babies well. Still no issues with quality of sound or of the product. They are comfortable, sound great, and the noise cancelling works well. Battery life is also wonderful and I can’t tell if it’s diminished at all over time. A great purchase!

I love these. The battery last so long, they’re comfortable to wear for hours. I don’t have to worry about them getting scratched, they’re plastic, so they’re very durable. I wear them to study or to go to the gym… the sound quality is to die for and I can gladly mute the world around me.

very lightweight (in the best way) and comfortable! still playing around with the sound quality and preferences but so far, i really like it! very good for flights (noise-cancelling). bought this when it was on sale (cyber monday deals) and would say it's worth the price (though still slightly more expensive than what i would normally spend on headphones). very nice, compact packaging too

Im 65 yrs. old and have bought many earphones. FINALLY, found a pair thst didn't hurt my ears. These earphones are a dream for ear comfort. The sound is amazing and you have several choices such as more bass or kess. The sohnd options are wonderful. These are expensive to me, but worth every penny.

These are hands down the best headphones. They are adapted to your ear shape for optimal listening. The noise canceling is top notch. I have used them every single day for three years now. I am just now needing to replace them due to a drop/damage which was user error, no reflection on them. They are so comfortable and just absolutely the best. They fit entirely over the ear and the cushion is so soft.

These headphone are quite amazing. I compared this to some of the others on the market, but the overall performance, sound quality which audiophiles would love, battery life (30 hours), design, and the especially the price compared to some other similarly spec’d headphones, this headphones wins hands down! Would highly recommend this product.

I have never been the type of person to buy expensive headphones. The most I've spent on a pair of headphones before this was $129 on the Logitech Pro X headset, which I used for a few years and really enjoyed. Recently, I was thinking a lot about cutting the cord and going Bluetooth for my headphones. No more tripping over the cables! I'd always heard good things about this pair of headphones, but I'd never considered them because of the price. I managed to pick these up on sale during black friday and it's quickly become the best purchase I've made this year. Not only is the bluetooth connection reliable, the sound quality is FANTASTIC for a pair of bluetooth headphones. Naturally there are some compromises in terms of sound quality when you use a wireless connection vs a cable, but the good news is that these headphones also allow for a wired connection as well. They come with a 3.5m cable that you can connect to the headphones, and in my testing it worked and sounded just as good as you'd expect for the price. I use them in bluetooth mode with sound cancelling enabled and can easily go two days without charging them, the battery life is phenomenal coming from a pair of Bluetooth earbuds. I highly recommend these headphones if they're on sale - but if you have the money to burn, even at normal price I would say these headphones are more than worth their price, considering the sound quality, noise cancellation, and feature-set are all top notch.

So I had done some extensive research about these headphones because I wasn’t sure if I wanted this model or the newer X5 ones. I even considered getting the Apple headphones for a split second. Thankfully I came across someone who actually purchased these ones and let me try them on. The ones on display were a bit stretched out from constant try-ons but the person’s headphone’s were in perfect condition. Based on that experience I decided that the X4 were the most optimal choice. Not only because they’re comfortable all around, from the ears to the headband (something Apple’s didn’t have), but also the quality sound, the app where you can change the settings depending on the listening experience you wish to have based on the music you’re listening to. Although the touch feature for the controls can take a bit to get a hang of, they’re not an issue to me. Ever since my purchase I can’t stop wearing them and remembering music I want to listen to specifically with the headphones! 20/10 recommend

These are the BEST headphones ever. The noise cancelling is top notch, I work a lot at coffee shops and there usually very noisy but the headphones practically block all the noise. It also has an option to stop the noise cancelling feature whenever you speak to hear better. And they do not hurt my ears, only when i use them for long hours at a time. Overall i recommend them highly if you want some nice noise cancelling headphones that aren't super expensive like the apple headphones.

I've been wanting to purchase this item for a couple of years, and despite the time there are still excellent at deadening noise to isolate the user, with a highly competative price point. Despite the exsistance of it successor, the mx5, I opeted for these due to the pricing but more importatntly the compact size. These noise canceling headphone have exceeded my expectations, as not only do they provide excellent sound but can be used as a device to isolate low frequency noise to allow me concentrate on cognitive tasks. They do not completely counter all sound, as any active noise can still be heard but in a much more damped state. However, background noise, such as the tv in the other room or noise coming from a neighbour are vertuallyu neutralized. I am very please with this purchase, and at a price point of 250USD this was a great investment

I really enjoy these headphones. I use them almost everyday and they are perfect when travelling. I love that they provide the headphone jack for airplanes. I had no idea that airplanes made this switch but the provided jack is CLUTCH! The noise cancelling feature is pretty darn good. Overall these headphones are worth a purchase. Very comfortable and one of the best features is that you can connect to 2 different devices at a time. Audio can easily switch from my phone to my laptop without much effort on my end.

Amazing headphones! Great sound quality and super comfy!! I usually get headaches with headphones when I wear them too long, but these are so nice. Has a good case and the battery lasts a long time. Would definitely recommend to a friend.

[I want to preface this by saying I'm not a Sony "fan" I'm not giving a good review because of the brand, this is my genuine opinion] Been using em for a couple months now and the build quality is great, very sturdy, and the audio is high quality. If you love bass, you're all good with these headphones, if the default sound is not to your liking, you can easily change it with the Sony app. the only thing I will say is, these headphones pick up fingerprints kinda easily, so if you're nitpick about that maybe consider getting a lighter color.

First Sony headphones in the XM lineup to support LDAC for customized EQ (XM3 doesn't support this). Audio quality had a big improvement because of this. Unfortunately multipoint Bluetooth doesn't support LDAC, so I'm keeping it off. Who needs multipoint connectivity when you can easily tap the headphones with NFC enabled devices and switch as you please. Best and most comfortable headphones in this price range.
