These headphones are one of the— if not the most comfortable headphones i’ve ever worn. The cushion on the ears makes it feel as if you’re not even wearing them. The headphones do really well with noise cancellation, in fact, you can control its listening modes through the app that you download during set up. The battery life is amazing. I can go without charging these for multiple days sometimes, but it does depend on the listening mode and the length of use between usages. Using these headphones without break will get you about 7 hours of listening time WITH noise cancellation on. Overall, the purchase was highly worth it and I find myself using them quite often!

These are definitely a fine set of headphones. Having previously owned a white pair that I literally ran into the ground I was looking for a replacement pair. Fortunately for me the came on sale with an additional $70 discount as a Best Buy Member coupled to an additional $10 reward to get a set of these for around $130 was a given for the quality of sound that you get on these cans. I did listen to the MX5 and 6 and cannot discern a significant increase in sound quality. I also own Sennheiser Momentum 3 and Momentum 4 which are great sounding but are substantially heavier than the Sony’s which is great when when I do my yard work. Hopefully I wont run these to the ground as well as they aren’t my exclusive use …… as an addendum they do have better noise cancellation that the Sennheisers should that be your deciding factor.

I really enjoy how comfortable and amazing the quality is! I've had them for a few months now, and they are my go to headphones. The battery lasts so long, too!

For the past couple of years I have been researching noise canceling headphones. With the the Black Friday deals, I decided to go ahead and buy a pair. From my reasearch I found the Sony WH-1000MX4's would best fit my needs. After about a months worth of use, I can say these headphones did not dissapoint. These headphones have excellent sound quality and great bass. The Sony headphones app makes it easy to tune the sound the way you prefer, instead of being stuck with presets. The noise canceling is good, but not perfect. When working in the office you can still faintly hear voices in the background. The voices do seem to go away when music or audio audio books are played. It is also nice the app does allow you to tune the noise canceling to fit the environment. If you just want to tone down the outside noise, you can just move the ANC slider to a setting of your liking. Last, these headphones fit great. I have a larger head which can be problematic with some headphones. With the WH-1000MX4's adjustability, they fit comfortably on my head, without too much pressure. I would recommend the WH-1000MX4's to anyone looking for a Noise Canceling headphone with excellent sound quality.

Comfortable and affordable headphones. They’re definitely wireless headphones I’d recommend and even got a friend to buy them and he also loves them I love that you can make a custom setting and adjust the sound of the headphones with the app as well. Love that they also come with a carrying case and accessories and if they’re dead you can resort to using them wired with the adapter it comes with and they’ll work without having to charge them and I don’t really see a lot of wireless headphones with this feature. It’s perfect for travel and easy to use and to connect and the battery life, short charge time, and the sound quality make it worth the price.

I am by no means an audiophile, but I have tried a large variety of audio playing devices and these Sony headphones are absolutely mind-blowing. I feel like up until this point, I have not heard music before. The sound quality on these headphones are beyond anything I have come across that just leaves you speechless. Also, the noise cancelling far exceeds any of the noise cancelling headphones/earbuds on the market, including the Bose 700s. I can confidently say that these are the best noise cancelling headphones under that 500 dollar range. Battery life is superior and truly does last over 24 hours (30 as described is a bit of a stretch here if you are using noise cancelling), but if you just plug these in for 10 minutes you can get like 2 hours of additional battery life. It is crazy. Microphone quality is excellent. I have used these for video conferencing and have been complemented on how clear my voice is. Background noise does appear to be controlled to a certain extent as well so people can hear you and only you. These are very comfortable and secure on my head. Additional app features help foster a great listening environment. Overall, these definitely outclass any headphones/earphones I have ever come across. However, its only downfall is I do think if a drop of water gets in these, you can say goodbye to these headphones! But these headphones are definitely worth the buy.

Super nice and comfortable headphones! Very soundproof and noise cancelling, they do not fall off like others and very convenient in the winter during the cold. Battery lasts very long after one full charge.

Sound Quality: Best Sound quality I've heard so far between Arctis Pro Wireless Gaming Headset, Playstation pulse 3D and Bose Noise canceling 700. However i did bump into some odd sound and connectivity issues between ps5 controller connected to the controller making the sound quality sound very muffled while pushing out 3D audio from the ps5 very odd yet im 90% sure that if you get a separate Bluetooth 5.0 Dangle to connect directly to the ps5 that would be eradicated, i hope ( i did not test that). Everything else sound quality is superb. Connectivity: This is where i had some issues, not with all devices but with the ps5 and a midrange Samsung Tv. With the ps5 there is no Bluetooth connectivity what so ever, the ps5 does not recognize the headset its unsupported completely but there is a way around it yet except a downgrade of sound quality oddly enough, by directly plugging in via headphone jack to the ps5 controller making the sound quality muffled very odd behavior, maybe caused by compatibility issues. Also bumped into connection issues via Bluetooth between a Samsung midrange TV from 2016 sound coming from ps5 directly to the tv via HDMI and then from the TV to the sony M4s earphones via Bluetooth yet i couldn't verify if it was earphones or to many sources involved yet thats what happened, but when the connection was stable enough it would deliver a better sound quality against plugging the headphones directly to the ps5 controller, it was all backwards, because i was expecting better results connecting to the ps5 for obvious reasons yet that was not the case unfortunately. Comfort: Comfortable enough up to 12hr of none stop playing video games, after that started to feel heavy on my ears causing some pain especially if you wear glasses. If you have some what warm place/apartment the do make you sweat, my place was a 75° f and i was sweating from where leather was touching my skin, something to keep in mind. Besides that very good Comfort. Battery life: Exeptional 30hrs of batterylife , 12hrs none stop video games while of line (no chat) and battery was at 45%, unlike the worst offender being the sony pulse 3D with 15hrs of battery life, from 100% to 50% after 3 hours.

Comfort is okay, sound quality is amazing. A little pricey but there are constant sales on this unit. Decent battery life as well.

This headphone is so comfy & I actually like it better than the XM5. The sound levels are good doesn’t make you too deaf & I love how you can put your hands over one side to hear what others are saying. It charges fast and battery life lasts pretty long. Used mines for 2 weeks now from time to time and I haven’t even charged it yet.

Love these headphones! The sound quality is really nice and the sound proofing option is really great. I love using the sound proofing when I am reading something in a busy area. The battery last a long time as well. Took a road trip that was about 8 hours. A majority of the time i used the sound proofing and then listened to music for a bit and my headphones had 90% battery.

These are a great gift for someone who works out. My wife has worn them to run, to chill in the steam room, and in the rain. They come with a nice case, and they fold flat, which makes them easy to store. The battery life and noise cancellation are also great, and there’s hardly any noise coming out when you’re wearing them, even with the music at full blast.

I have been using these nearly everyday since i purchased them about a year ago. I tell everyone how great they are. Super comfortable, easy to use and connect to multiple devices, pretty good battery life, good noise cancelling and they look great. I use them for work, at the gym, mowing the lawn, and traveling, etc. I bought another pair for my mom too. I can't recommend these enough

These headphones are great! They have pretty solid connectivity and the sound is phenomenal. Coming from AirPod pros, I don’t think it was a huge jump but still nice. They are comfortable but I’ve found wearing them for more than a few hours can make my head hurt eventually. I loved these so much I bought a pair for my sister as well. Bonus that these go on sale pretty often and are totally worth the money

Great headphones. As expected, the noise cancellation is top notch. I don't think I've ever used anything better in that area. Battery life is really good too. I don't think I can kill these in a day even at max volume with noise cancellation on. Even if I can, they charge from 20% to 80% fast enough that I don't worry about battery life. I wouldn't complain if there was a little more volume at maximum with less distortion, but admittedly, I'm a person who has been around loud music from my teenage years and my hearing isn't the best these days, and I really like to turn up the volume sometimes. These will probably be fine for most people in the volume department when used with noise cancellation. I just like my headphones to have slightly more volume than I need while staying distortion free. Otherwise, great headphones, especially if you get them on a good sale. I'm not someone who would usually pay $400+ for headphones, but I'll take them at half price on sale for sure.

These Sony WH-1000XM4 Wireless Noise-Cancelling Headphones are phenomenal! They are every bit as good as headphones twice their price and more!! Pick them up at Best Buy on sale and you have a real sweet price on a great product. My last 4 Headphones has been Sony! Paired against "Beats" Headphones The Sony WH-1000M4 produce "True" sound! Outstanding battery life! I highly recommend them!

As a medical student who was studying for the most important board exams of my life, I had to move back to New York for my rotations. That meant noise from vehicles, and since I lived under a family, brothers sharing their love for each other with their fists - as all brothers do. Now, I did not want to be rude and constantly ask for them to keep their children quiet, so I tried these headphones out to block out the noise. The only thing that could annoy me was my own heartbeat now. These headphones: 1. Are comfortable so I can wear them forever. 2. Charge very quickly for 30 hours of uptime! Even a quick 10 min charge lasted me the night if I forgot to charge them in advance. 3. So versatile, since the Sony app allows you to keep the firmware up to date, and unlocks more features to customize gestures of your headphones, your equalizer, and how much noise cancelling you need. The con? Taking a call isn't so bad, but it's definitely NOT the best quality, which is fine because I played with both the Bose 700 and these headphones and let me tell you that the musician in me was so happy with the beautiful and crisp sounds of the mid-range frequencies that are often discarded for your hearing pleasure. These headphones are definitely worth the buy, you will NOT be disappointed.

This model feels more comfortable than the New Model. They are also more comfortable than the Bose Quiet Comfort Ultras or the Q45’s in my opinion. The Sound is Solid “ compared “ to the aforementioned Headphones especially for the price of $225.00 I paid. Honestly I would not recommend paying $350 for these headphones or any of the other contenders. The sound does not blow me away for Sony or Bose . I will say that the Bose headphones are Overrated which is typical for Bose products in my opinion. In conclusion, most Electronics are overpriced and overrated, However if you can find the Wx004’s on sale for $225 or less, I think you should be satisfied.

These headphones are truly magnificent. If you’re on the fence about these or another pair, I’d recommend you go for these. The only issue I’ve had with them is that a plastic piece came off which caused my right speaker unit to spin freely and eventually come off and hang. Because I bought them from BestBuy, I’m assuming they can fix them. So I highly recommend getting them from BestBuy AND having an account so the purchase is saved under that. Quality of sound is magnificent. Clear and crisp. If you want more bass, you can easily make that happen or search the internet for an EQ setup that does exactly what you want. On the flip side, the treble and voices never lose out. The battery can last 2 whole days without a recharge. I’m talking enough battery for a good workout and for time at work/school. Besides build quality, the biggest issues (which is still small) is its connectivity. I’d refrain from having the headphones connected to multiple devices because it easily gets confused.
