The sound quality is unbeatable in this headphone ,very light weight and its so comfortable in ears. very good for long hours listening. This is one of the best headphone I have tried so far recently. If you are in a market for a good headphone then this is the one.

I love my headphones! The sound coming out of the headphones is amazing. You can hear every note and symbol. The bass is Perfect. And they are comfortable to wear for long periods of time. The battery life is excellent as well.

This product is great. The noise canceling is amazing. I would recommend to anyone that loves to feel comfort to there ears. They are very light and they do not feel tight on ears. They are very durable.

The durability is what you'd expect (even surpassing) the old saying "you get what you pay for", they're extremely comfortable to wear even for long time periods, and the included case is a continuation of that, especially for keeping cables with the headphones. The sound is absolutely top notch, entering into audiophile levels with bass that should please 99.99999% of ppl (and to use with a few choice non-Sony EQ apps in Android or iOS stores, these *definitely* compete with audiophile levels. The Sony Headphones app is *very* easy to use with a user friendly UI that anyone can navigate/make changes; it's all really self explanatory. Top notch for *any* use...music, podcasts, movies, tv and *excellent* for gaming (too bad the built-in mics can't be utilized, but otherwise makes for *real* immersive gaming I've never before experienced. To use wired with PS4 or Xbox One, the tv or soundbar connected via optical cable actually have more latency than the headphones! Good advantage in FPS games!). The noise cancelling is even better than I read about while researching BTNC headphones to replace my Sony WH-H910N headphones that began having audio probs within 6 months. Being mostly homebound disabled and needing to sleep in the recliner, others can go about their business in early morning without disturbing me in the least as a podcast plays, and even can't hear the woodshop noise of table saw/heavy machinary about 10 ft. behind my recliner throughout the day. The noise cancellation optimizer has proven to be an excellent feature. I was skeptical about some features by some reviews, like sensitivity of auto pause when taking headphones off...but you adjust them as needed without worry; you have to fully take them off as default sensitivity is set. I haven't used much for phone calls, but at least with my LG Stylo 4 sound quality on my end is best I've ever heard from *any* headphones or bluetooth device (the old style pre-smartphone days that came with all phones). I initially bought the Bose QC35 ii Gaming Headset (default QC35 ii's but with a mic included for gaming), and I'm 110% glad I exchanged for these, even if The only real suggestion I would make to Sony (a suggestion, *not* a con) is to put ventillation holes on the inside of the ear cups. Like any over ear headphones they can get a little warm after several hours of use, and having used the Bose QC35 ii headphones for 2 weeks prior to exchanging for these, that did make a noticable difference. Worth every penny...especially if you get them on sale because then the optional 2 year warranty nearly pays for itself.

These are so comfortable to wear, they are lighter than Bose, and the technology in the app allows you to customize your equalizer via a quiz so you get your preferred sound. Love the talk function. However, not the best for phone calls unless you’re inside in a very quiet environment. I wear these while out running errands a lot and were fabulous on a very long road trip recently. The battery lasts quite a while too. Very impressed. Connecting to more than one device was a little convoluted but I got there.

Amazing headphones with really nice audio quality as well as noise cancelation. Also the fact that you can fold it and put in a case to cary easily is so much better compare to xm5 or 6. Something for this price range is really good. You can always go for jabra or some senheiser but if you are looking for good audio and good noise cancelation, this is the best you can get for this price range which is wireless. The battery life is also pretty good. And with fast charging I get a decent battery just for charging 1 hour.

I love these headphones! I’ve always had a problem with earbuds staying in my ears or giving me headaches so I decided to buy over the ear headphones. It was an awesome decision, these are so comfortable and the noise cancellation helps a lot when traveling. The sound quality is great but didn’t blow me out of the water. Still great though! Lots of customization in the app. Also, the battery life is outstanding; I was truly impressed. I traveled to the airport and used them on the plane twice in a row and the charge was still at ~90% which I thought was crazy.

i work in a very loud factory. the noise cancelling feature is awesome! i can accept phone calls, start and stop conversations with voice recognition feature. alexis. long battery life and comfortable to wear. pricey but well worth it

Great set of wireless noise canceling headphones. I bought these to replace an older pair of Sony mdr-xb950n1 cans. So far I am enjoying the upgraded features, improved comfort, and sound quality. For certain types of music I do miss the extra bass punch of the older pair, but the sound is much improved overall, as is the build quality. I love that the music pauses automatically when the headphones are removed and resumes when put back on. The noise cancelling and hear-through features are also quite nice. One of the only issues I have is with the lack of physical sound level buttons. The touch swipe feature is quite finicky and makes for a frustrating experience at times. Other than a wish for more physical buttons, I really have no complaints about this solid pair of headphones.

Love these over the new ones. If you prefer on the sound quality side such as bass etc this is it. But if you are looking for noise cancellation might need to reconsider it. I would compare the sound system and noise cancellation as the AirPods Pro gen 2. Battery life is amazing, If you was to ask me, these would last me a good 2 weeks. Give it a try if you don’t like it you can always return it with the 7-30 days policy.

Great noise canceling and abilities with ambient noise. Comfortable and good battery life. Nice case and accessories too! Won’t connect to my Samsung tv. But tv is a little pesky.

The noise cancellation is very good, I enjoy using them at the gym or when running. It’s super easy to get them connected to your phone and works flawlessly

I bought these to use with a MacBook Pro for casual streaming, YouTube, etc. I also use them with an iPhone13 Pro when in a room with others whom I don't want to disturb. I seriously considered the Apple Airpods Max and the Bose QC 45 as well researching many reviews and opinions. I relied heavily on the advice of my techie son who is big into HD audio (keeps his music in DSD files when possible) and is also a well headset experienced major airline pilot. While the Air Pods Max have a few trivial Apple interoperability features, the price was hugely higher. The Bose were a bit behind in features and sound reviews. These Sony's scored best on sound quality, and while I was making the choice, these Sonys went on sale - decision quickly finalized. I was worried about switching them from device to device but it's easy and quickly learned. As I studied them more, I am now using them in the mode where they are connected to both devices so I don't need to switch them. I can only listen to one device at a time, first come first heard, but that is pretty functional if you think about it. BestBuy was out of black in the store, and I am glad. All other headsets I've owned were black or gray, and I just love the blue. The battery life is fine, and USB-C charging is great. They work fine with Siri, btw. This is a minor complaint, but I would prefer that The Speak-To-Chat "time until the mode closes" choices include an ultra-short option, perhaps 5 or 7.5 seconds. I don't remember my Magnolia sales advisor's name (Austin, TX Arboretum), but he was very knowledgable. Thank you BestBuy and Sony!

headphones are comfortable, the battery life is amazing and the noise cancelling is solid for being two generations behind.

If you like to listen to music loud and with thunderous bass this isn't gona be for you. Otherwise it's a good set of headphones. Noise Cancelling is pretty decent as well as battery life & range. They are lightweight for their size and pretty comfortable. if you plan on laying down in bed and falling asleep with headphones on, you'll find these to be uncomfortable in this specific situation.

These headphones have many great features. They are very comfortable to wear. They are lightweight. Noise cancellation is very good, but without music playing there is an audible hissing sound from the noise cancellation. The app is great to work with, and connection and setup were a breeze thanks to the consumer friendly app. The app can take into account that you are even wearing glasses when setting up. Doing a wireless firmware update was very quick.There are many choices to choose from with the EQ feature. But the audio quality was not there for me, which was a big surprise given how many customers rate it very highly, and given high ratings from influencer reviews. The instant I started listening to music, I knew something did not sound right. They have a good amount of bass, but it sounds muddy to me, and middle and high tones lacked definition. Instrument separation and clarity was also sub par. I subscribe to Amazon HD music which allows for the highest quality streaming experience. I also tried listening with the cord attached, and many different equalizer settings, but the audio did not improve. In some sense the sound was actually irritating to listen to because of this. I have listened to the Bose 700NC and my old headphones were the BOSE QC 15 wired version, which I compared and thought had much better audio quality and clarity. Maybe these headphones were defective, but in any case I decided not to pursue it and returned them. Given all the other very positive features, I really wanted these to work out.

I recently upgraded from the XM3's (which I've owned for two years) and these 4's are superior in every fashion. The noise cancelling is significantly improved, the bass is still the best of any headphones manufacturer (that's right, I said it, come at me Beats and JBL), as well as a noticeable loss of weight. Now the only two drawbacks seem to be the battery life, and the speak to chat can still use some work. The only reason the former is even a negative is that my XM3's seem to have had a longer life, but I feel that the loss of weight may have something to do with that. But with all that being said, before I go on a ramble like Grandpa Simpson, these (in my opinion) also beat Bose in every category that matters, even if it's by the smallest of margins.
