These headphones are phenomenal. Noice cancellation, in app customization, sleek design…they’re really great. I picked these up because I refuse to pay for the AirPod Max. I used the headphones in the office, at the gym, and at home. They pair almost as nice as some of my Apple products, so don’t worry about lack of compatibility if you’re in the apple ecosystem. I truly don’t have any complaints. I can keep them on for hours at a time and barely kill the battery. These are everything I need when I want to fully dive into my listening experience.

I love these things. Currently I have all types of headphones laying around the house. Sometimes I just buy them to just see what the hype is about. These Sonys are definitely not just laying around. The battery life is amazing, last all day and into the next. The noise cancelling is great, on a plane you really cant hear much with a movie playing and noise cancelling all the way up. The headphones are comfortable and you hardly notice them. I knew the call quality was going to be all there, and i didn't purchase them for calling so I'm not taking a star. It does deserve to be mentioned that the call quality is trash.

Recently bought these to replace a pair of Bose QC 35ii's that'd I'd been using for travel for several years, and the leather had finally given way (and aftermarket replacement ear pads just ruined them). I've always liked these Sony's, and bit the bullet and switched. Overall, I do really like these. They are a tick heavier than the Bose equivalents, but not all that noticeable even with a few hours of wear. The sound equalizing is really nice, and a big differentiator from Bose. Really strong bass. It's more noticeable which is L/R compared to the Bose. It's a little thing, and maybe I'm just a moron, but there's a visible difference. The 3.5mm cord is a lot heftier than what Bose provides. I never broke mine, but I was always worried it would happen. Great battery life. A couple negative marks (and why I can't give them 5 stars)... The "vacuum" created with ANC is a lot more noticeable to me than with my old Bose headset, and I'm not in love with that after using these on a few trips. Also, I'm not in love with the lack of buttons and dependence on touch "gestures" for controlling volume, skipping, and pausing. I also worry that, over time, there will be visible wear on that headphone (right side). At least for volume, it'd be nice to have more tactile control (see people's complaints about touch screens on cars). Definitely would recommend these though if they're in budget. All-in-all...great set of headphones.

There is probably not a lot I can say that hasnt already been said about these headphones but I'll give it a whirl. I was impressed with the sound quality. I was expecting it to sound like a typical pair of popular headphones where the bass is so muddy that it ruins the entire sound. This is fortunately not the case. There is also an equalizer in the app to adjust the sound to your liking. 360 reality audio is mostly a gimic. To start there are very few ways to actually use this. The way I used it was through deezer. There is a special deezer app that allows you to play songs with 360 reality audio. I tried comparing a few songs between the normal deezer app and the 360 reality app. I think I prefer the way it sounds with the normal app. It does sound more open with 360 reality audio but it also sounds more processed. A pair of headphones with a wide sound stage and good imaging sounds far better. I think 360 reality audio would be cool if it could be used games or movies but not with music. The battery life is fantastic. I tend to use it in short bits of maybe 30+ minutes here and there. I find I rarely need to charge them. I dont have a ton of experience with noise cancelling headphones. I was initially a little dissapointed in how much it cancelled. This doesnt block as much noise as something that isolates the noise like a pair of shure or etymotic earbuds. Since thats what I often use I wasnt blown away by the noise cancelling ability like others have been. One thing I was dissapointed in that I havent really seen mentioned anywhere is that you cant connect to two devices and use LDAC at the same time. You have to choose which one you want to use. Higher quality or two devices. All the reviews seem to point out that these headphones support these two great features but fail to mention that you cant use them at the same time. Hopefully they figure out how to make both work at the same time in a future version of these headphones. Until then I tend to mostly treat these as the multipoint feature doesnt exist. Overall, these are a great pair of headphones and would highly recommend them.

They can be better. I really bought them because I was trying to connect my headphones to my PlayStation and since it was a Sony brand, I thought it was compatible, but it wasn’t. I keep having to use the wires to connect my PlayStation to the headphones, which is sometimes annoying But all in all they produce great audio, and the comfortability on them are amazing.

These headphones are comfortable enough to wear nearly all day long, which I sometimes do. The sound quality is superb. But perhaps most amazing is the sound-canceling feture. With the headset on, I hear very little other than the music playing. I would buy this item again.

Gotta say I'm very pleased with these! My office has several people just outside of it in cubicles and I can hear everything they say. These allow me to enjoy an open door while not having to take part in every conversation they have! Great for productivity! The sound quality is also very high, these are not reference headphones, they are arguably not audiophile grade either, as many audiophiles want a flat frequency response to hear the music as intended. These give you a bit of boost in the bass range, and have a very "fun" sound to them. They last forever on a charge it feels like, and sound good enough they don't have me yearning for my "hifi" pairs back at home.

The Sony WH-1000XM4 Headphones are simply the best! The sound quality is amazing! The Noise Cancellation is the best in the industry! The Bluetooth range is awesome! The battery life is amazing! They are so comfortable that you can wear them for hours and hours, all day long. Trust me, once you get listening to the awesome audio, you won't want to stop listening! I can't say a single thing bad about these, as they are totally awesome! You should definitely get a pair and you will love them! I'm so glad I got them. They are worth every penny I paid! A must have. I don't want to live without them!

I purchased the Sony-WH-100XM4 based on all the positive reviews I’ve watched online. The Headphones are comfortable and light. The sound is great for Bluetooth headphones. Noise canceling works great too. The battery last a long time with Noise canceling enabled. The headphones can connect to two devices at once. The Headphones use touch controls for those interested and you have to download an app to adjust settings. I would certainly recommend these if you’re in the market for a new pair of noise canceling headphones.

These are much better than the ult wear if anyone is wondering, Ult wear’s are not good. I purchased both and returned the ults immediately and kept the xm4’s. for $200 or even $150 I can’t recommend the ult. Xm4’s are clean and clear in all areas and similar bass as the ult. The old sony xb900n are vastly better than the ult in everyway, new is not always better for the ULT. XM4’s for gaming it’s surprisingly very good. Clean bass and soundstage is good for closed back, some gsmes im finding myself hearing new sounds and shocked out good they are for gaming. As Someone who games with the audeze maxwell headphone ($300) the xm4 are better than maxwells when gaming wired to a controller. (Consoles) very impressed and on sale for $200 its a great buy. These will stay in the collection

I've had my eye on these for a while. I had been holding out because they are a bit expensive. So far, definitely worth it. Noise-canceling is great, very comfortable, they feel nice and sturdy and come with a g hardshell case, battery life is solid, and the touchpad controls are a very unique feature. You can connect to multiple devices at the same time. I also really like that you can customize the sound using the mobile app. Don't know of any other headphones that do that. I will say, if there is no music playing, and the noise-canceling feature is on it feels like there is pressure in your ears. But that's not a big issue.

A little background, I have been enjoying my silence in the office during the lockdown as most people either be working from home or coming in shifts thereby creating an extremely peaceful work environment. Fast forward a couple of months, people showing up in the office increased exponentially and so did all the gossips they had to share. So I bought these headphones on a whim. There hasn't been a single day in the office that I have not used them. They are amazing in all respects. Let start in the order of qualities I appreciate in them. ANC: The best feature of these headphones for me is the active noise cancellation. All the chatter and bs is just blocked to the point where you can enjoy a dumbed-down version of the silence. Make no mistake, they will not completely make your environment similar to pin-drop silence but be rest assured you shall feel the difference for sure. Battery: I don't care about the numbers but there hasn't been a single day that I have run out of the juice in them. That doesn't mean they won't but just means if you are judicious enough to keel an eye on the battery and keep charging for a couple of hrs, you are good. In case you do forget, good old wired technology is for your rescue. Sound: It's SONY, enough said. The sound quality is amazing. The sound stage is wide, well balanced, and yes the EQ does come in handy for a bass lover like me. Build quality: You get what you pay for, so since you paying the premium you do get lightweight, well build headphones. The headband is comfortable. The ear cups have the right amount of cushion and do not get bothersome even after 10hrs of use. That is the max I have tried on a single stretch. The ANC feature can make you feel a little uncomfortable with weird pressure feeling but I could live with it for 10hrs. EXTRA: Speak to chat, amazing function when in office worst when you are at home and your jam comes on. The touch on the right ear cup is flawless. Every time I want to execute a function, it is done. Final: I would highly recommend this investment.
