I had purchased them for my vacation to Europe, and many they cancelled out all the noise around me, on the plane, at the airports and it was great!!! ||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased these for my father who is not particularly techy, and is typically rather frugal when it comes to tech (i.e. if he's able to hear sound coming from the cheapest pair of headphones possible, those are the ones he wants). I took a shot in the dark and bought him these headphones as a gift, but he enjoyed them so much that he wanted a replacement pair when he lost the originals on a trip. Since then I bought myself the earbud version wf 1000xm4 and my girlfrield also has the WH-1000XM4. We are all very satisfied. While I don't consider myself an audiophile, I think these headphones sound great for a middle of the road pair, and the noise cancelling is excellent. I have always had a hard time with over the ear headphones as they make my head uncomfortable after even short amounts of wear, but I found these headphones to be as comfortable as any I have tried.

Wow can I just say I’m no expert but these are amazing. My teenage son did research for me and said “get these”. The NC feature is amazing. Sound is amazing these are amazing! With the $70 price drop makes these a win-win! The only issue I had was using in vehicle as a passenger could regulate wind noise so I had to shut off NC. so far my only issue but this would be the case with any true NC headphones per my son. Wind noise and NC are perfectly fine outside of a vehicle

I cannot believe how crisp the sound is. More importantly, I do NOT hear my kids' drama ;). They cannot I am impressed Sony! They also come with the adapter to plug into the phone or other music device if you are leery about connecting to Bluetooth, as I am. These are hella expensive, j but Best Buy has great sales throughout the year so keep your eyes open for the sale price. Good luck and enjoy these bad boys!!!!
