Excellent pair of headphones. Setup is very easy. Can connect to 2 devices simultaneously. Noise Cancelling is very good. The sound is clear. The bass is deep. Used the headphone for meetings and phones calls and there are no complaints about the voice clarity. The headphones are comfortable for long use. My ears don't hurt as the over-the-ear earcups are big enough to go around my big ears. the cushioning on the earcups is soft. The cushion on the headband is also is good so it does not feel like the headphones are pushing down on my head. The case that the headphones come with offer nice protection when stuffed in a crowded back pack. Highly recommended. A very compelling buy if the available in a sale if people don't want break the bank on Bose 700 or AirPods Max.

I really bought them because I was trying to connect my headphones to my PlayStation and since it was a Sony brand, I thought it was compatible, but it wasn’t. I keep having to use the wires to connect my PlayStation to the headphones, which is sometimes annoying But all in all they produce great audio, and the comfortability on them are amazing.

The WH-1000XM4 headphones were designed for general-purpose Bluetooth connections and aren't compatible with the wireless protocol used by PlayStation consoles. That's why a wired connection is necessary for them to work with your console.

I didn't know what to expect with the XM4 being the first pair of Hi-Res audio headphones I've ever owned. Wow! The sounds quality is nothing short of industry leading and surrounds you most of the time. It really is some amazing work done by Sony with these. Noise canceling works great, the battery life is crazy good, and they fit my head and remain comfortable for hours on end! Using the Sony Music Center app to adjust the EQ is a top feature as well that shouldn't be overlooked. Don't hesitate to purchase these!

Bought these as a gift but I also have one on my own I was gifted one back in 2021 and it still works perfectly. Overall these headphones have great sound quality and battery life, which is must as a college student.

Although, the bass could be a little better, it still delivers surprisingly well. I’m coming for beats studio and this is just way better in every aspect. It’s probably more than what you need it for. Me personally, I wanted to synced to two device. That there was the selling point for me. The billion other things it does is just icing on the cake. Not all is good. Some of the things it’s does well can get annoying. So you’ll have to turn off some features. The swipe to turn up/down the volume and change songs works maybe 60% of the time and it takes some getting use to to swipe the exact location for the function. The feature where you start to talk to listen and have a conversation with someone else is a little too sensitive. Don’t even both using this feature if you’re working out. Banging of the weights would activate it instantly and all the time. So spend some time on the app. You won’t regret it. Now the all time best feature is the lightness. It’s literal like nothing is on your head. If this thing didn’t cuff your ears and play music, you’d never know you’re wearing it. A little exaggerated but you get the picture. That feature is also a down fall. Don’t drop the thing from a decent distance. The swivel is easy to break. I broke mine that way and you have to come out of pocket to get it fixed.

The sound quality seems to be more balanced this time around and not as bass heavy has the XM3, but it's still not a flat sound like some reference headphones. The touch controls are better, but still iffy. Comfort wise, these feel the same as the XM3. I really like the build quality even though it's mostly textured plastic, but that makes them lightweight and the clamp force is perfect. The only downside to this entire line of sony headphones is that the depth of the earcups need to be increased.

Sound Quality: The audio is rich, clear, and well-balanced. Bass is deep without overpowering, mids are smooth, and highs are crisp. Whether you’re listening to music, podcasts, or watching movies, everything sounds clean and immersive. Noise Cancellation: This is where the XM4 truly shines. The active noise cancellation is top-tier, blocking out everything from airplane engine noise to background chatter. It creates a quiet, focused listening experience that’s hard to beat. Comfort & Design: The headphones are lightweight with soft ear cushions, making them comfortable for long listening sessions. You can wear them for hours without discomfort, which is perfect for travel or work. Battery Life: You get up to around 30 hours of battery life on a single charge, which is excellent. Even better, a quick 10-minute charge can give you several hours of playback. Music is crystal clear and the EQ is top notch. I can also wear them comfortably for hours on end (as I do while working) while never needing to recharge them for a solid two days. If I had any complaints, it's the weird touch-based controls on the side of the ear cups that don't quite make logical sense when resting your hand against your head. It works, but I feel it's a little too sensitive if your fingers brush the ears. Nevertheless, it's absolutely worth the purchase!

I was very hesitant them because they are so expensive but after having them for about a month I have no regrets. Their is a weight room next door to my office that is in heavy use for the last hour of my day and these cancel out all the racket coming in and let me keep my focus. They are very comfortable and have a great depth of sound. They are easy to set up and integrate well with your notifications. The battery lasts a long time too. If you are on the fence about these I hope this gives you the push to get them. You wont regret it

Music through these comes through beautifully and (depending on the format) you'll even catch the tiniest of details. The noise cancelling works pretty good too, works best with things like blocking out the sounds when you're flying on plane but still works nicely overall. The battery life is great, lasts me several days with noise canceling on, and best of all, they fit my rather large head.

Good bass in the headphones with really good noise cancellation. It also comes with a travel friendly pouch where it holds all your wires. I only charge my headohones 1-2 times a week.

This is by far, I mean, by far the best. Great Bass punch, and the main function which is the noise canceling, it is so goooood. On the Bose's you can always hear a little buzzing sound which is the canceling noise. On the Sony, you just hear the music. Battery life is awesome and it is so easyroconnect via app.

The sound quality is superb. But perhaps most amazing is the sound-canceling feture. With the headset on, I hear very little other than the music playing. I would buy this item again.

I bought these for my son and subsequently borrowed them for business trips that required flights. they are simply fantastic. very comfortable, amazing sound and the ANC is just the best. Luckily my son convinced my wife to buy me a pair since he was tired of lending his to me. the battery life is crazy on these things. 10 out of 10 could not recommend more.

Cannot use with PS5 even though it's Sony

Very intuitive (has a noise canceling feature that sets automatically depending on what you do / where you go). Confortable to wear. Long lasting battery. Cons: Cannot pair to a PlayStation. Design is beautiful but so light, it feels like they can break easily. Had trouble with it when I enabled the Google assistant (would stop playing music and assistant would go off without permission even after I disabled it).
