I have the Sony XM4 buds, Samsung Pro buds, Pixel Buds Pro and even some nice Sennheiser open back studio headphones. The sound, comfort, ease of use and look of these headphones are by far my favorite of all. I also love that I can plug them in with a regular headphone jack to my work computer. The case is nice, the blue color I bought is beautiful. I waited so long to buy these because i had so many other headphones and really didnt need them. When they went on sale for $199 I couldn’t resist and im glad i didnt. They are amazing headphones and the noise cancellation is also top notch.

The battery last so long, they’re comfortable to wear for hours. I don’t have to worry about them getting scratched, they’re plastic, so they’re very durable. I wear them to study or to go to the gym… the sound quality is to die for and I can gladly mute the world around me.

The most I've spent on a pair of headphones before this was $129 on the Logitech Pro X headset, which I used for a few years and really enjoyed. Recently, I was thinking a lot about cutting the cord and going Bluetooth for my headphones. No more tripping over the cables! I'd always heard good things about this pair of headphones, but I'd never considered them because of the price. I managed to pick these up on sale during black friday and it's quickly become the best purchase I've made this year. Not only is the bluetooth connection reliable, the sound quality is FANTASTIC for a pair of bluetooth headphones. Naturally there are some compromises in terms of sound quality when you use a wireless connection vs a cable, but the good news is that these headphones also allow for a wired connection as well. They come with a 3.5m cable that you can connect to the headphones, and in my testing it worked and sounded just as good as you'd expect for the price. I use them in bluetooth mode with sound cancelling enabled and can easily go two days without charging them, the battery life is phenomenal coming from a pair of Bluetooth earbuds. I highly recommend these headphones if they're on sale - but if you have the money to burn, even at normal price I would say these headphones are more than worth their price, considering the sound quality, noise cancellation, and feature-set are all top notch.

I compared this to some of the others on the market, but the overall performance, sound quality which audiophiles would love, battery life (30 hours), design, and the especially the price compared to some other similarly spec’d headphones, this headphones wins hands down! FINALLY, found a pair thst didn't hurt my ears. These earphones are a dream for ear comfort. The sound is amazing and you have several choices such as more bass or kess. The sohnd options are wonderful. These are expensive to me, but worth every penny.

Sony WH-1000XM4 Headphones

The sound quality is amazing, and the noise-cancelling is top tier. When I’m listening to music, I can’t hear anything going on around me, which is perfect for traveling. I use these on the plane, I use them while I’m watching TV, and they never disappoint. When I first bought them, they were expensive because they had just come out, but now the price is much more reasonable, and definitely worth it. If I had to recommend any headphones, it would without a doubt be these Sony ones.

Best Buy I ever made

I even considered getting the Apple headphones for a split second. Thankfully I came across someone who actually purchased these ones and let me try them on. The ones on display were a bit stretched out from constant try-ons but the person’s headphone’s were in perfect condition. Based on that experience I decided that the X4 were the most optimal choice. Not only because they’re comfortable all around, from the ears to the headband (something Apple’s didn’t have), but also the quality sound, the app where you can change the settings depending on the listening experience you wish to have based on the music you’re listening to. Although the touch feature for the controls can take a bit to get a hang of, they’re not an issue to me. Ever since my purchase I can’t stop wearing them and remembering music I want to listen to specifically with the headphones! 20/10 recommend

The audio is crisp and clear, battery lasts a good while, and they're pretty durable. I'm usually worried I'll snap them with the size of my noggin but they don't get stressed too much at all.

Best Noise Cancelling

They are adapted to your ear shape for optimal listening. The noise canceling is top notch. I have used them every single day for three years now. I am just now needing to replace them due to a drop/damage which was user error, no reflection on them. They are so comfortable and just absolutely the best. They fit entirely over the ear and the cushion is so soft.

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.[I want to preface this by saying I'm not a Sony "fan" I'm not giving a good review because of the brand, this is my genuine opinion] Been using em for a couple months now and the build quality is great, very sturdy, and the audio is high quality. If you love bass, you're all good with these headphones, if the default sound is not to your liking, you can easily change it with the Sony app. the only thing I will say is, these headphones pick up fingerprints kinda easily, so if you're nitpick about that maybe consider getting a lighter color.

These are the BEST headphones ever.

The noise cancelling is top notch, I work a lot at coffee shops and there usually very noisy but the headphones practically block all the noise. It also has an option to stop the noise cancelling feature whenever you speak to hear better. And they do not hurt my ears, only when i use them for long hours at a time. Overall i recommend them highly if you want some nice noise cancelling headphones that aren't super expensive like the apple headphones.

I'm not much of an audiophile but I've noticed that sometimes the sound quality can sound a little iffy but overall not unlistenable. Good battery life and the connection is stable.

Sony Doesn't Miss! Great Headphones

I use them almost everyday and they are perfect when travelling. I love that they provide the headphone jack for airplanes. I had no idea that airplanes made this switch but the provided jack is CLUTCH! The noise cancelling feature is pretty darn good. Overall these headphones are worth a purchase. Very comfortable and one of the best features is that you can connect to 2 different devices at a time. Audio can easily switch from my phone to my laptop without much effort on my end.

They don't take a long time to charge either. However, like the first pair of these that I tried and returned, they randomly turn off during songs or while watching videos, and I have keep turning them back on. The % of battery left seems to be irrelevant. Gonna have to go talk to someone at the store now.

That's definitely not normal. Since it happened with your first pair too, it might be a settings issue. Here some steps you can try to resolve it:
1- Disable the Automatic Power off setting by Opening the Sound Connect app on your smartphone, then go to system > Automatic Power Off > Do not turn off
2- Make sure the firmware is updated, you can also check this on the Sound Connect App
3- Initialize the headphones to restore factory settings, here are the steps on how to do it:
