Thank you for your your time to write this review. While we are glad you like the sound quality of the headphones, we regret to hear that the unit had been returned due to connectivity issues. Resetting the headphones and making sure that the software is updated help to resolve issues if the headphones is not working properly. Thank you for your feedback on our WH1000XM4. We appreciate this and this will help us improve our future products. Regarding sound quality for Bluetooth, we have 2 modes for XM4. The Priority on sound quality mode which prioritizes the sound quality (default). And, the Priority on stable connection mode which prioritizes the stable connection. When you want to prioritize the sound quality, select the “Priority on sound quality” mode. If the connection is unstable, such as when producing only intermittent sound, select the “Priority on stable connection” mode. It is unfortunate that we can no longer help you troubleshoot your problem. We are optimistic that you will consider Sony again in your future purchases. Regards - Marco
