I’ve adjusted the settings with only a little improvement. The only way to get good mic sound is you have to use the cord plugged into the headphones and your phone or computer which defeated the purpose when needing a wireless connection. For the price the mic should work better when on a wireless connection. My $28 wireless headphones work better for calls than this one. So don’t buy for phone calls.

For call quality issues, please make sure that the firmware is up to date. Also, please follow the troubleshooting steps below to resolve this issue:
Check that both the headset and the connected device (i.e., smartphone) are turned on.
Turn up the volume of the connected device and the volume of the headset if they are too low.
Check the audio settings of the Bluetooth device to make sure the sound is output from the headset during a call.
Use the Bluetooth device to re-establish the connection. Select HFP or HSP for the profile.
If you are listening to music with the headset, stop playback and tap the touch sensor control panel twice quickly (with an interval of about 0.4 seconds) to respond to an incoming call.

They really do its job with blocking a lot of things out with its noise suppression, I'll be sitting with a friend and the only way to get my attention is just to wave in front of my face. It also has a sound equalizer so you can adjust what the audio sounds like as well, which is very nice :)
