Sony headphones are awesome, sound and battery use are awesome

I’ve been a Bose and Apple guy. Then I bought Sony. I’m a fan of Sony. But the Bluetooth connection on this headset keeps dropping. It’s not as intelligent as Bose when automatically switching between my phone and fire tv. The touch controls were annoying, I had to disable it so now I can only control the volume via my phone or tv - but worth it to remove the annoying feature. Sound quality is better than Bose but not by much (q35). It’s tighter than my Bose and pressing on my ear so I have to take a break when wearing. Noise canceling is better in Bose. Great to wear if you have glasses.

It’s good…..i think for thr price i paid (200$) on sale these are great. A buddy of mine has the xm5’s and while i can say the headband is slightly lighter in the xm5’s its not so much of a difference that i genuinely care or wish i had gotten the 5’s. And as far as sound quality goes the xm5 has negligiblably better base like if you tweak around the EQ settings with the 4’s to get yiur desired base the sound is almost indistinguishable from the 5’s. If you have 400$ get the XM5’s and if you only got 200$ and the xm4’s are on sale def get the 4s you def wont regret it and i know i sure dont

As an audiophile, I've been looking for noise cancelling headphones that also have good quality sound and range. These have checked all the requirements so far, and more! They're comfortable to the point I can wear them 8+ hs a day, and switch between meetings and music seamlessly. The noise cancelling is so good my roommates need to signal to me in order for me to look up. I thought the gestures were going to take some time to learn but it hasn't been the case, they're intuitive. The remove noise cancelling to talk works really well. Too well sometimes. I'd be walking close to someone talking and it will activate. The option to have two devices connected hasn't worked for me so well, I had issues switching from my phone to my laptop with the result of the laptop switching back to its speakers. It might be my MBP, I haven't tried with other devices yet. She sound quality is excellent, as expected from Sony, the sound is crisp and balanced, with a good range.

I highly recommend these headphones. No doubt about it, they are expensive. But I definitely see it as an investment and not so much “breaking the bank”. If you’re annoyed and want to shut out the world, THESE ARE THE HEADPHONES FOR YOU! If you want to feel like you’re in the studio whilst listening to your favorite song, THESE ARE THE HEADPHONES FOR YOU. No joke. Also, they double as earmuffs lol because the ear part is very cushy. Anyway, 10/10, I definitely recommend, plus I would get the warranty… I’m an anxious person and I always get it just in case lol. ONE DOWNSIDE, I feel like on the website the silver color looks more cream colored, and in person they give more silver/gray. I didn’t like that at first but it grew on me!

Great Quality Headphone that are versatile and comfortable. I use these headphones for when I play my PS5 because it comes with a aux cord. Not a lot of high quality headphones still have aux ports on their products, and I love that Sony still does. The sony app also does a good job of helping you EQ your sound, which beats JBL's app in terms of quality and function. I would suggest spending the money to get these headphones because they will last a long time. Sony makes great listening products.

I purchased the Sony - WH-1000XM4 during the Black Friday sale to program to my Bluetooth on my 2022 Samsung S95B OLED 55-inch 4K Smart Television to watch sports, HBO-Max, Showtime, Starz, Epix, Netflix, and Amazon Prime. I love these Sony Headphones and the noise cancelling. The sound quality of these headphones is awesome. I originally purchased the Samsung - Galaxy Buds2 Pro but they didn't feel as comfortable in my ears and sometimes they would get loose in my ears and fall out. Also, I get up to 30 hours with the Sony Headphones before they need recharging. I can practically watch television all day before I need to recharge them. The Samsung Galaxy Pro 2 Earbuds only last about 5 hours before needing to be recharge

I looked for a very long time to find a pair of comfortable headphones that have great noise cancelling (flying even during covid) and amazing sound. I can say that these more than meet the bill. I have ZERO complaints about the sound. The noise cancelling is amazing - especially with the ability to temporarily let ambient noise in to hear overhead announcements and the speak mode. The comfort, while important, was beyond expectation. Anyone that wears glasses or now has a face covering on for hours at a time knows just how bad the pressure can be behind the ear. I'm happy to say that I have worn these for many hours through airports and flights and was very happy with the comfort.

Super comfortable and light weight. They dont get too loud but with the sound quality they provide you do not need them too

These are very nice headphones with excellent noise cancellation qualities and I originally purchased it bc of the awesome reviews I’ve seen online however I don’t know if I’m the only one experiencing this but sometimes the headphones will unconnect randomly and if you use the duo connection for two devices. On most occasions the headphones will first connect to the other device before the one you want to if that other device is close enough. I use an iPhone XS Max and an iPad Pro 3rd Gen as the two devices I use the duo connection on. I found that this problem usually gets solved when you turn off this feature but because I use it so much and find it inconvenient to turn it off and on through the Sony app before using the headphones I just deal with it (that or I just move my other device really far away so that it won’t connect to it). If it weren’t for that I’d give these headphones a full 5 stars but yeah this is basically the only problem I had with them. Leaving on a good note though these headphones have the best battery time I’ve ever seen having upgraded from my regular airpod pros. After 5hrs of use these headphones still have enough juice in them to go another 3hrs! Def recommend to anyone looking for a good noise canceling headphones with long battery life.

What can I say these headphones are awesome the clarity is great I can hear every instrument it's lightweight the battery is great the noise cancelling is very good I couldn't ask for a better product. I would recommend this product go out and buy this you will not be desapointed.

These are great for walking/running/just listening to music. They are comfy on the ears as well. The noise cancelling feature is great too! Easy to use. I actually bought these for my boyfriend to use on the plane when he comes to visits me and it works really well for him!

The Sony X4 blows all the competition when it comes to noise cancellation. The is the smartest and most comfortable headset I’ve ever owned. I can’t see getting any other brand headset after this. Totally worth the money and super light weight. Definitely recommend.

The Sony XM4s are great sounding noise canceling headphones. They’re comfortably fit around my ears for hours. The main positive is its weight. I really only downside is the controls to pairing and unpairing is difficult.

This is the latest (mark 4) version of these wireless headphones. I really like them so far. They are very comfortable and do not feel like they are super tight on my head, as cheaper headphones do. The sound is, well, Sony: very good. I hesitated for a long time because of the price, but they are well worth every penny. If there is a negative, it’s due to the fact that the sound via Bluetooth is not as superior as wired headphones. However this isn’t really a negative at all, because it’s a given that wireless technology itself is just not going to deliver the same frequency range as wired audio. These are my walking headphones. So, I’m not going to be as attentive to the purity of sound as I would be if sitting down for a listening session. The extra features are useful (noise cancellation; ambience control)—however, they will drain the battery faster than using the headphones with those extra features disabled.

Use around the house some. Bought for a trip that got canceled. Used recently on a flight and worked great! Plan to use on a road trip in the near future. Have beats flex and a few others similar. The ones that go in ear work good for most part and blocks all noise. My sony are over ear making more comfortable. Blocked all the noise of the plane out. Blocks tv and stuff in house. When someone comes up and takes to be it let's their voice in, I can cover one side and let noise in, I talk and it let's noise in, all automatically. When I take off it pauses my phone or tablet it's connected to. Sound quality is get. They are expensive but worth it if you catch a sale.

The Sony Wireless Noise Canceling Over the Ear Headphones are the one I will hang my hat to say that I love them. Love the the clear sounds of the music I listen to as a dj I can actually hear the highs and lows of the the music. Clear sound of the spoken words I can actually hear the words very clean and clear. I also have the ability to turn on a setting that will allow for automatic stoppage of my music if a call comes in or if someone walks up to me while wearing these headphones. The fit over my ear is comfortable and not pitching. Nice snug fit.

Excellent product Amazing comfort, I can where them all day. Great battery life. Love the technology, imbedded features and auto detection abilities. Also the thinner profile looks great and fits great while wearing. It feels secure, light weight and fits close to my head.

We love these headphones. This was our second pair. The sound is crisp and these are super comfy.
