I’m so glad Sony finally came out with the new XM4 with multi device support. I waited to splurge on this headphone. The sound is still beautifully clear as the XM3. It fits nice and feel really light when wearing for long period of time. Still has best noise-cancelling feature of any headphones out there. Well worth the wait!

Nice quality headphones to spoil yourself with

They set up very easily with the Sony headphones app and provide excellent surrounding noise cancellation. The battery life seems good as well. The case is nice and charging seems relatively quick.

Really work for noisy neighbors

Upstairs noise was really getting impossible to live with. As soon as we begin to hear "Henrietta Hippo" begin her baby elephant walk we put on our WH-1000xm4's and cannot hear anything but what comes in from the T.V. or stereo. Peace at last. Use with MEE transmitter/receiver so both my wife and I can enjoy our lives again. Also good when one of us wants to sleep while other listens to or watches something else. WORTH EVERY PENNY and a lot cheaper than moving or hiring a lawyer to work out a plea bargain.

I’ve used the Bose 700s, Bower and Wilkins PX7, and the WH-1000mx3s. I loved the mx3s but the fit was a bit uncomfortable for longer periods of time. That’s not the case with these new mx4s. The extra cushion feels great and they feel very light. Overall an excellent pair of headphones. Best in its segment!

Bought these about a month ago and I have no regrets. Ended up buying my sister a pair as she loved them as much, if not more, than I do. Great features as it stops playing when you start a conversation with others and using gestures for controls, for example. Almost flawless, 4 stars as my wife says when i call her she can still hear the tv in the background supposedly. Look forward to using them on my next flight. Was a great deal since i got them on sale for black friday.

My wife has the XM3 and they’re nearly identical. I do like how these turn off when you take them off your head versus the XM3. I tried a pair of Bose Ultras and ended up returning them for these when they were on sale. The Bose probably sounded a little better but the noise cancelling was almost identical. For the price I couldn’t justify the more expensive Bose headphones. I really wanted to get the XM5’s but saw a decent amount of reviews saying the headband breaks easy. Didn’t want to drop that kind of money for something that would potentially break on me.

I was a bit hesitant to pay the price tag these come with. So I bought a less expensive brand, I was dissatisfied and returned them for the Sony WH-1000XM4. I am so glad I did! The old saying "you get what you pay for" is certainly relevant here!

Worth the cost

Battery lasts forever and easily connects to my computer and my phone seamlessly. Worth the money, and IMO better than the Bose on my own big head. My only minor complaint is how my glasses push against my head for a longer session, maybe 3-4 hours straight, but that has nothing to do with the product.

Definitely a huge improvement with the noise cancellation than the xm3. Also the ability to use no with just one but two Bluetooth devices is a plus for me since I do tend to use it with my phone and laptop. Also the comfortably has improved for the ears. Great product! And it definitely delivers. Noise cancelling is great, comfort is great, and sound is amazing. Very convenient having multiple devices on Bluetooth. The cost is high, so you may want to hold out for a sale, but they’re a good pair of headphones.
