I use them to listen to audiobooks without disturbing anyone around me. Also late night TV bothers no one else and I can hear like it was a theatre. Stereo surround sound is awesome! Great headphones, garbage controls

I prefer them to my bose headphones. That being said, the touch controls on the headphones are a huge steaming pile of garbage. Whoever had the bright idea to implement it was either in to deep to back out or purely clueless to what people want in their products. I have 20 year old vending machine headphones with better controls.

Love the multi connect feature so i xan connect my phone and my ipad at the same time. Very light weight and comfortable. Works great eith my android phone. Really good sound.

I have never tried any in this class or more expensive so I can’t compare except to cheap headphones & earbuds. These are much better. I like the noise cancelling. I had very close neighbors who would fight a lot and windows were open in nice weather. This blocked them very well. They are gone. I still love the phones. I listen to mostly classical music and oldies from 60’s. I think the music sounds good. I can well distinguish individual instruments in classical music, making it very beautiful. I’ve had these over 2 years and still love them.

Some great features. One annoying problem

It is on par or slightly better than the Bose QC 35 II. It is more comfortable to wear for extended periods of time than the Bose (at least for my ears). Cons: The biggest problem I have is that when restarting the headphones, the volume always starts at maximum. I am using the iPhone app. Sometimes the volume control on the iphone app is not responsive when on a call.

EXCELLENT headphones

I'm a bit of a headphone hoarder and have way too many pairs given that I only have 2 ears. The sound on these rivals the AirPods Max, for a much lower price (about half at the time of this review). The noise cancelation is amazing, the sound quality stunning, and the best part - they fold up, unlike their expensive competition. If I'm going on a trip and space is at a premium, I'm choosing these over the AirPods Max. For me, I can't really even tell a difference in sound. I wanted to buy the xm5 for myself, but honestly I can't justify it as mine still work perfectly.

She notes that during my conference calls she can still hear me; however, if I am not actively talking, the background noise gets completely drowned out. Not disappointed about the noise cancelling, however, not 100% impressed with it. Battery life is great, music quality is great, and build is great.
